My baby had early onset sepsis and was sick on the first day she was born. She went into neonatal care and had as better within 7 days and was able to come home. My baby didn’t feed well and also was very cold temperature. She also had hypothermia and hypoglycaemia and low oxygen when admitted and jaundice. But my baby is now 6 years old! It was a very scary time as a first time mum straight after birth and one of the hardest weeks of my life !
How was it? My son got the same situation. He is now 4 months baby but im worried that he is not eating well the way I expected but the pedia said the weight is normal but i think it’s bare minimum. So I just wanna ask if your baby is a normal kid right now? How is she?

To be honest after the hospital my daughter did great and put on weight fine I did do formula feeding so I always knew what I was giving her. I did try breast feeding for first month but being in hospital it became a bit of both. And now she’s 7 had her birthday recently she is perfect body weight and is tall! It hasn’t affected her long term at all tbh. My daughter was only in neonatal care for 5 days as a newborn then was allowed to go home, so maybe it is different if the recovery time was greater. I don’t know if it would be relevant to weight gain but maybe best to check with the doctor

Poor suck sya tapos di sya gnung kaiyakin. nadischrge kmi ng hospital okay sya. pero after 5days nanilaw sya. nung na admit sya dun namin nalaman na may sepsis pala sya bukod dun mataas ang bilirubin. Nilagnat yung baby ko 39 ung pinakamataas later on bglang baba ng temperature. lumaki din ung tyan nya. nagdiarhea and later on sumuka ng dugo. Nagkameningitis din sya. Pneumonia and dahil sa infection nagcause din un ng acute limb schemia. grabe pinagdaanan ng anak ko😢 kitang kita ko yung hirap nya nung nasa nicu sya natubuhan pa sya. Pinagpasa Diyos ko nalng lahat kasi kitang kita kong hirap na hirap na sya. kahit masakit sakin pinagkaloob ko na sya sa Diyos. Sobrang sakit makita yun bilang ina. Ngayon mag 3months na sya sa heaven. at lagi kong napapanaginipan na masaya na sya.
2 days ngayun kakalabas namin ng baby cu at 2 weeks na cya ngayun atbna admitted cya nung 6 days palang cya kasi from 3 days na iniluwal ko siya nakikitaan na ng sintumas si baby cu nangimgitim at decya pala iyak .kaya pala iba siya sa ibang baby kaya ayun buti mabaet ang diyos at denreneg niya mga prayers ko na gagaling anak ko at natapos talaga namin abg antibiotics na para sa baby cu at na ereffer kami sa city at dun kinuhaan vya ng lahat ng laboratory ... At salamt nakauwe nakami ng bahay at maayus nakalagayan ng anak ko lage na cya dumididi at umiiyak na ng malakas pag nagugutum or dekomportable
