    i have connected a 24-0-24 3amp transformer to this amp but there a heating issue the heat sink gets very hot even after 5mins of use is there any
    problem with the board or power supply or is it normal.

    Supply max.... Volt?

    Hi, friend. I have a module like the one in your video. But my module when I connect it to the 24v power supply without using it, it starts to heat up. that's normal?

      Are you using 24VDC or are you using a center tap AC transformer as required?

    I have a similar amp board, but the heatsink gets quite hot even without the speaker load after about 10 to 15 mins. Is this normal?? Please let me know.

    tengo el mismo tda. quisiera saber cuales son los voltages de el transformador toroidal que utilizaste. vi que conectaste dos cables en el tap central (?) . Desde ya gracias por el video

    Did you get to assembling a mono block amp?

    • @sdriza
      @sdriza  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did. I will make a video soon. Two monoblock amps. Very simple, but sound ~pretty good.

      @@sdriza Nice, will keep a look out for it. Mine currently drives one of my tapped horn subs.

    🌹Dear sir can you explain power supply details,
    AMPS and VOLTAGE 🌹

    • @janspoelstra8309
      @janspoelstra8309 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The amp needs 24-0-24V AC input, preferably 200VA or more. This can be a (toroid) transformer, or a switching power supply.

    Have you tested at 4 ohms if it can work

    • @sdriza

      I haven't yet (have you?) Either way, I will - and I'll post about it.

      it can somewhat handle it. but not to its fullest. since the current limiter will kick in.

      DGJM I've wired it to 4 ohms and it's nowhere near 100w on the output before it starts distorting.

    Can you tell us the voltage of your transformer? thx!

    • @Bubu567
      @Bubu567 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      +-18-24v works well.
      Needs center tap ground.

    Hey man How did you connect your phone (3.5mm) audio to the amplifier?

    • @sdriza
      @sdriza  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you get it? Just seeing this now - there are positive and negative terminals so you can wire up a receptacle - or even wire directly together.

    Hope you are doing well! I have two passive tower speakers and each tower consists of Woofer 6.5 Inch(60W RMS)+Mid-Range 4.0 Inch(40W RMS)+Tweeter 1.5 Inch(20W RMS) that is 120W RMS+ 120W RMS and Speaker impedance 4-8 Ω. I have also two TDA8954TH mono boards. Can I use my two tower speaker with these amplifier boards as 2.0 with ease or not. If yes could you please advise me on the appropriate volt of the transformer and the ampere?

    • @janspoelstra8309
      @janspoelstra8309 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can. If you use the 24-0-24V (300VA toroid), be gentle with the volume control, as the amps will put out close to 200W each, this is no problem for a 60W speaker (only the woofer counts...). Keep in mind the heatsink will get up to 50°C, this is normal. Do check if it is fastened properly flat on the chip, or the fun will be short lived, as the thermal protection will kick in. I added a heatsink to the 8A rectifier, as the radiation of the chip heatsink causes it to get rather hot, as it's a bit on the amall side when 24-0-24V is used.
