When i first started fps gaming i.e warzone (came from Dota-2 with almost 2000 hours) my kd was 0.4 and now i've reached 1.2 kd 4 months ago and i felt like i've improved but now i dont think im improving anymore. Looks like im stuck and i rage quit often, i feel like i should have been doing much more but i dont seem to improve. Maybe this is what i need. Take off my ego, stop going hard on myself , focus on improving rather than short term wins and the list continues.
Long story short thank you for all your videos. Im gaining confidence again to grind

But the problem is,i lose confidence when i go up against pro player, and i got demolished by him.I lost confidence not bcs of i got wrecked,is i feel like my skillset has reach its maximum and if i want to be a pro player,i need to be better but i cant.

    • @eathletelabs

Focus on individual skills rather than the whole of your performance. Figure out what aspects of your game are the weakest and tackle those first.

I am a person who often gets blamed that is too "pesimistic", but in reality I am a realist. And reality is often disappointing. That doesn't mean you can't change reality. I was losing a game in CS 2 where the enemy was stomping us, my team was complaining about the map and I told them: "Guys, just play the game, try your best". Guess what? We lost, but we almost brought it back and made the enemy sweat. And me from bottom fragging - I was top of the scoreboard, by never losing my cool, but instead doing some really nasty stuff to the enemy. I was really surprised by myself that I didn't dwell in negative thoughts. I just told myself: "Do you your best, it's not over until it's over.". Even if we lost I had positive experience, because of the resilience I showed.

@eAthlete Labs Dang Braeden looking kinda fresh on the on the video chat 😂, all jokes aside i think this is one of your most important videos, because mindset and mentality it makes or breaks your success and how much you achieve throughout esports and anything in life honestly. If I had to watch one video first on this channel it would be this one.
What i do personally is meditation to observe my own thought patterns and practice mindfulness to prepare myself for tough situations, and journal about the emotional thoughts etc that i have.

    • @eathletelabs

By preparing for the negative you manifest the bad things into existence on what you’re trying to prevent . Yes be wary negative things happen but you can’t control them all so why try and prepare for them cause then all your gonna end up doing is focusing on the negative. Be confident as much as you can and visualise your perception of perfection. I hope this helps anyone
