For me it was the point of the video to see how a "lower" tier phone compares to the recent flagship iPhone and I was happy to finally find a comparison like this.

Iphone 13 pro; it is slightly superior in resolving power and sharpness, the images look more detailed. but slightly over-saturates the color of the surroundings and objects.
Looks as though Samsung gave Apple their image color profile. They used to have the more punchy, colorful but balanced look. This year, it's the iPhone' turn. It's just a shame Apple has touched on every aspect of their new phones but totally neglected the front camera.
This is just what I was looking for. Perfect comparison, they both have 3 lenses which make it a great match up. I just traded in my pixel 6 for the s21 and have to say I like it much better, better zoom and camara quality the same. I have the iPhone 12 pro but wanted to see the 13 pro go against the s21 and they are about equal. I love the size of the s21.

Something to note, the s20 and s21 including their plus variants and the note 20 don't have real telephoto lenses, only the fe versions and the ultras had real telephoto lenses up until the s22 series in which all of them have telephoto lenses
On my s21u I constantly get blurry pictures, so i actually end up using my wife's iPhone 11 (not pro), whenever I don't want to miss a shot, which is more reliable in that regard. So there is absolutely no way s21u can be compared to iphone 13, its autofocus and reliability is nowhere near iPhones.
It's as simple as that, the photo in galaxy is better while videos taken by iphone is better. I think samsung's image processing ability is actually crazy, cuz even the photos taken with A series (which is really cheap) looks pleasing and sharp.

Yes. I had to keep pausing the video. Not a huge deal but it was hard to keep things straight, for sure. otoh, if he had lingered too long I probably would have kept skipping forward by 10 seconds at a time.

Actually the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max have the exact same cameras so they should be put up against the S21 Ultra (still kinda unfair because the S21 series was launched waaay earlier so Apple had a lot more time and knew what they were up against). The S21 should be compared with the regular iPhone 13 tho.
it's still a good comparison because they're both the best phones the companies can offer in the 6.1-6.2 inches area, for example i'm interested in waiting for what S22 will offer, even tho' it doesn't compare directly to 13 pro, for a smaller hand they're the best someone like me can get

The 13 Pro is not bad but: After seeing over a dozen reviews of iPhones 13, compared to iPhones 12 it's just: Slight decrease in saturation Slight increase in contrast Slight decrease in exposure. Slight but really slight increase in detail. In fact nothing impossible to do in post-production with your old iPhone 11 or 12. But beyond all that I prefer the S21 which already there is almost at the same level as the iPhone 13 if not better and will improve over the years and with updates. Unlike Apple, where to get the new features you have to buy the last iPhone 🤧.

Why are the S21 Ultras portraits so zoomed out when they have a similar mm, 3x telephoto lens? Same with the main sensor they are similar focal length but the iPhone looks more cropped in.
why not use the front camera? people always want to see themselves when talking to the camera, it's pointless just to see you using the back camera only
The quality of the front camera is not as good as the back. And the ultra wide look is nice to see the background and not just zoomed into my face. I can start to do some here and there.

It’s my channel and I can do whatever I wish. There are no rules. I’ve compared the 12 pro to the budget a52. Over 100k views shows that ppl wants to see the difference. Not because of fairness. If you seen the rest of my comparisons not once I compared phones with the ultra on this channel.

Now that iPhone has their own color profiles, ppl can adjust it to how they like. But to be fair as possible I use the default profile

In daylight s21 selfie is very good.. but in indoor or artificial light.. it becomes very dull and ugly

Just to make a correction, Next time make sure you use phones that are on the same bracket. S21 should be compare with iPhone 12 or 13... While s21ultra should be compare with 12pro or 13 pro series. Don't make such mistake again its misleading. Or else you can point it out during the video. 🥂
How is it misleading? I didn’t state anywhere in the video it was the ultra. And these comparisons don’t have to be in the same bracket. A camera comparison is a comparison with ANY 2 cameras. It’s my channel and I can do whatever I wish. There are no rules. I’ve compared the 12 pro to the budget a52. Over 100k views shows that ppl wants to see the difference. Not because of fairness. If you seen the rest of my comparisons not once I compared phones with the ultra on this channel.
