This is for 4 cylinders ONLY. The 6 cylinders are completely different. NEVER try to take apart the transmission on the 6 cylinders, it would be very difficult for the average person anyways, but I figured I'd mention it.
There's something about the 2nd gen Escape that makes me happy to drive it. Am thinking of putting a 2012 Sport Trek V8 in it. Has "only" 300hp but is not bad on gas. I recon a 300hp V8 in an 2010-12 Escape Limited would he fun.
They just wanna make it more complicated than it has to be. They want you to take it to the dealer to have the tranny rebuilt or replaced. Or buy a new vehicle. It’s all about the $$
Dude, I have watched dozens of videos, and yours is the best, most well thought out one, straight to the point. Liked.

Yup. I plan on doing this multiple times.
Same here. I’m gunna do it twice the first time. Wait till next oil change and do it one more time till it’s due again
I've got 225,000 original miles on my escape. Probably changed my trans oil twice. Still going strong.
Still going strong in 2024?

Good Video. I was told to buy 5 quarts of LV because once it warms up they say add some?
Yep, drive it awhile once you fill it and then recheck it warm. I used close to 4 quarts.
Thank you
Fix your audio and change to landscape mode.
Ok, thanks for the advice!
That's a lot of fluid to go through to drain and refill three times.
You don’t have to do it three times. One refill won’t get all the old fluid out though.
LMFAO! Next time read the manual.
