I love going to places like this, so relaxing ❤God bless you. It's nice they are helping injured animals, hopefully some will get to go back into the wild.
You’re welcome Del 🙂 That fish hatchery has been there a very long time. It may even be older than me 🙂 I agree with you on it being a lot of trout! Thanks for stopping by!
Awww, how sweet this is♥️. I love animals♥️ God must have had a big smile while He was creating animals♥️ I have never seen a white deer before, that was neat! I love the sleeping fox and bear♥️ What a beautiful place y’all have up there to enjoy♥️ Have a blessed day🤗☀️💛
Thank you so much Darlene ❤️ I had never seen a white deer before either. She is a rarity. I’m so glad these animals have a second chance at life, in this sanctuary ❤️ Thank you for stopping by and commenting ❤️ I hope you have a blessed day 🕊️
Loved seeing the wild cats! Someone in my elementary school growing up had a mountain lion as a pet, caged in backyard. Very neat place to visit. Tfs. God bless. ❤
Thanks James, it really is. It’s a wonderful habitat for animals who have been injured or abandoned by their mother. They wouldn’t survive in the wild, so they live at the sanctuary year round where they are taken care of, and live out their lives.
Thanks Karl, did you read my description about why these particular animals are confined? I’m not sure people understand. They were all rescued animals that were either injured or rejected by their mother. Living here they get a second chance at life. Otherwise they would not survive. Their habitats are wonderful and they are taken care of all year round. We are thankful there is a place like this for them to live out the remainder of their lives ❤️ Thanks for stopping by!
@KatInTheNorth I kinda figured that about 10 seconds after I posted my comment.🤦 and no, I did not read the description. Lol I will from now on tho! Ha!
@@Katana-Karl No problem 🤗 It’s all good! I’d much rather see them out of the cages as well, and living a good life. They’ve got it good there though, thankfully. Sometimes they get hit by cars, or neglected by their mother, etc. That white deer has been there for I think 6 years after the mother abandoned it. It’s incredible that she’s lived that long. I was disappointed there was only one moose this time (it wouldn’t come out), but Don said to look at it this way, there haven’t been any injured ones to bring there. So that’s good. Take care my friend. God Bless!
Good to see them up close in the wild you only get a brief look from a distance. The creek that flows thru the park here has a lot of that wild life . I saw a very big cat bigger then my dogs and it was just waking along slow & easy
Good Morning Randy, It sounds like you saw a very big cat! Do you have cougars there? I’m glad the cat kept going in the opposite direction. Thanks so much for stopping by, stay safe, and God Bless!
Thank you Rick! I’ve heard of Squam Lake, but I never realized they had a similar place there. I appreciate you stopping by, and Happy Fathers Day to you!
Thank you Matt. We have some who say there are none in Maine, and others who’ve said there are. Quite a few years ago now, our neighbor had one by her horse barn. I would’t be a bit surprised if there were some out here. I appreciate you stopping by!
What a wonderful place! Perhaps Faith could make friends with some of the big kitties there? 🐱 In central Illinois, there is a similar place called Wildlife Prairie Park outside of Peoria. 1800 acre park where you walk around to exhibits of native wildlife, including a herd of bison and a pack of wolves you can watch eat. Was one of my favorite places I've ever visited.
🙂 We thought about Faith several times! 😊 The place you mention sounds really awesome, and I know I’d enjoy that. My daughter lives in Illinois (just outside of Chicago), and I’ll have to think to ask her if she’s ever been. That sounds like an awesome experience. I appreciate you sharing that, and for stopping by. I hope you have a great week. God Bless 🕊️
Wow kat what a beautiful sanctuary I enjoyed the video thanks for sharing where in Maine is that place I might want to visit there on my upcoming vacation next month

I'm torn because I hate seeing them in cages but at the same time.. I like seeing the animals.
Thanks for sharing sister
Hey brother, if you read the description I wrote, it explains why they’re in cages ❤️

Very nice video, Kat! The Maine Wildlife Park is very similar to the Squam Lakes Science Center near us. It's always a nice visit. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Rick! I’ve heard of Squam Lake, but I never realized they had a similar place there. I appreciate you stopping by, and Happy Fathers Day to you!
@@KatInTheNorth Thank you. Squam Lake is where the movie On Golden Pond was filmed.
@twinbrookacres Okay, I thought so! I love that movie 🙂
Nice place . We hear a wild tale of cougars around this area now and then but I’ve never seen any.
