The only thing that is not true in this movie are the real names of the soilders. Even the seen where the girl is saluting and crying is a real event when major MN Roy died his daughter saluted him by shouting the war cry of her father regiment. This movie is that accurate.

The main point is India army went across the international borders in both the cases. In mynmaar it was with support of Burma govt. and in Pakistan case, it was top secret. and again we did a 3rd strike in pakistan where our Air force played their part beautifully.
