In Moscow, in the city center, not far from the Kremlin, there is a very beautiful Anglican Church of St. Andrew the First-Called. There you will find many parishioners from the USA, Scotland, England and South Africa. There are Catholic churches and there are Lutheran churches. On Sunday you will find a lot of expats and others there to work with.
Bring USD or Euros, clean banknotes. Get a simcard for your phone then go open a bank account. Change money and deposit in the new account.Use your new MIR card to pay for everything. Whole process takes about 2hrs.
Do not change foreign currency at the bank because the exchange rate is poor, in fact 50% commission so only change if you do not care about losing 1/2 your money. Also, do not change at the airport, because it is also a poor exchange rate but you might need to change $20 just to get a Yandex taxi to your destination, Go to any phone store, there are everywhere and get a SIM card for your phone. Everything in Russian cities are phone optimized so getting that phone number is first priority, and offices for the main phone networks are everywhere including at the airport terminal The two largest are Megafon, MTS and BeeLine but there are others that are cheaper with fewer options. All are cheap compared to the west. My phone charges are about $6/month. Once that is activated in a few minutes in the shop, download all the Yandex apps something like Google but better in all ways. Their maps app is really good but tracking in Moscow city enter is limited in accuracy temporarily due to the US/Ukraine missile attacks that use GPS or Russian version GLONASS. The apps by Yandex are really good such as the translate program is excellent in text or speech translation. Yandex Drive and Taxi are very convenient and relatively cheap so there is no reason to rent a car. Even Americans who live in their cars find that life is so much better NOT having a car where there are so many cheap safe and convenient transportation options. The cost of living dropped $1000-3000 a month by not having a car compared to living in the US where you really can't live without a personal car. Getting to know the bus, tram, trolley, ride share, electric scooters/bike, Yandex Drive yourself cars everywhere, train and the spectacular Metro, subway system your options are real improvements in quality of life over being tied to your car back home. The streets are safe and cities beautiful for walking is a desirable option. There are specialty exchange banks all over however that give excellent rates. There is a chain that have many offices all over the country such as Avandgard Bank where there is 2-3% difference between buy/sell rates that change constantly through the day due to Central bank rate adjustments but the change is usually a fraction of 1% They are picky about the conditions of the notes however. Before coming to Russia go to your bank and ask them to reserve new uncirculated bills. Any marks, signs of wear, dirt, ink marks etc causes those bills to be useless in Russia. There are some tourist focused exchange booths near tourist areas or in hotels that will take them but at very poor exchange rates. When you have rubles. go to a major bank, such as SberBank which is actually owned by the government and has many thousands of branches everywhere in the country. All the banks are good, honest and provide good services. In fact all the businesses and the people are more honest than what you are used to in your own country. It takes less than an hour to open a bank about and get a debit card without your name on it, and if you need one with your name on it, it will take a few day to get your card. All the ATMs have language choices so they will be easy to use. After having the card with your initial deposit, the entire city opens to you. You can use the card as your transportation card on buses, ride share, scooters, you drive cars by Yandex that are parked all over a city and once you have an account and its app, on your smart phone you can drive any of their nice 5pa full size SUVs parked all over the city but I do not advise it until you know the city well and can read the signs. Socializing and dating! You will find people just get a long and women are not afraid of men and actually like men. The best advantage about living in or visiting Russia is the access to social and cultural life. If a guy is polite and has something interesting to say he an meet anyone you see. Just do not be a creep, aggressive or self entitled. If you have something interesting to say, a pleasant conversation will result, anywhere, in a shopping mall, during intermission at the opera, in a park, in a museum. Being polite, well spoken and pleasant goes a long ways. Males and females actually like each other here. Do not be surprised however that the person you are talking to is much better educated, cultured and better traveled than the western foreigner. Don't brag, being more humble gets you further. There is a very active social scene so every evening pubs, clubs, jazz clubs, museums, galleries, parks, restaurants etc are full, they are not home watching TV. The pub life in UK and US is dying but in Russia they are very social and active, friendly usually having good food and primarily beer, hard spirits are not that popular. One thing you will notice is how good of shape people are in, they walk a lot, have very healthy food and are physically active. Parks are everywhere so a long stroll in an park is a very nice way to get to know someone, save the opera or ballet to later, they will be very familiar with the arts. If staying in another city, not Moscow there will be a lot lower expectations for what is considered a serious date. Even though women outnumber men in heading businesses and universities, they remain feminine, especially in smaller cities. Even small cities have live drama, ballet, opera, symphonic halls. Do not be surprised if your new friend has traveled to more countries than you have, they are avid travelers and adapt to new societies with ease and fit in anywhere. Regardless of your degrees, odds are that she has a much broader and deeper education. I have dated in most of the 92 countries I have spent time in and the most cultured and broadly educated are surely Russian. I have lived fulltime here 24 years but visited many times back to the Soviet era
Additional notes of interest to those wanting to experience Russia: Work, the most common foreigner job is language teacher but it is remarkably easy to start a business here. You might need to enlist help from a citizen because a foreigner, even on the 3 year visa you are not supposed to have job or own a business, but being a partner is not a problem so the first business I started was with my GF being the legal owner and me being the investor. It was a small repair shop for professional audio equipment started in 2001, and still going, Income was modest but more than cost of living plus 2 months a year traveling. Then added an incoming tour operator business that was seasonal, only active in the spring and summer but paid my staff all year so we had an advantage over the competition who at the end of the cruise season layed everyone off. I wanted the best people so hired the for year round but they has from end of Sept to April as paid vacation. Russian business owners thought I was crazy but because were ready to go when the competitors were trying to find new staff they had 2 months of ineffective time where were the most important months for booking. So the second season my return to work was with fully experience staff and we grew to second largest in a field of 73 competitors and had grown to 83 staff. It as a field I was never in before but used basic common sense became the second largest in the field of cruise ship passenger shore excursions and then got contracts with ships to provide the 2-3 day port call shore excursions. I wrote all the software to automate almost everything so did really well until Covid shut down ships arriving in St Petersburg. I opened a pro photo studio where due to my many contacts in the film and live theater field ,most clients are stage actors. There are 237 drama theaters within walking distance from my city enter home doing actor portfolios and conducting popular actor workshops twice a month for 2-3 master classes on how to transition for theater to cinema which is all based in Moscow. Each 2-3 class has 30-60 actors attending. I also do consulting on sound systems for clubs, venues and such and pretty well known in the musician and singer field, everyone knows me from my main business in California for having a top recording studio complex where we recorded 197 gold and platinum albums, groups and albums you likely know well. If someone has a good idea and understands the potential market starting a small business is remarkabley each and low cost in Russia.Every year it gets easier as the rules and regulations get simpler. The odds of a small business thriving is very high compared to the US or UK where cost of living is high and the owners burn through their starting cash before turning a profit. kills most small business start ups I live a VERY nice life, far better than when I was successful in California but cost of living was so high. My basic cost of living in the city center of St Petersburg, is about $1400 a month for two people living a VERY active social and cultural life that would be impossible to duplicate in the US for $500,000 a year. Dating is about 10,000% more pleasant and enjoyable than is even possible in the US. I gave everything away i the US, car collection, an airplane, 6 homes, 12 businesses to the employees and came here to Russia with 2 suit cases and $6000 in my pocket and arrived on the same day that Putin was sworn in as president the first time. Everyone thought I was crazy but it has been a wonderful life choice, with more great friends, more access to culture within walking distance than all the US combined. Surely it is not for everyone, because many Americans are addicted to strife and stress and are used to being limited to very narrow constrained lives and shout to all who will listen to their claims of being the richest more powerful country and best quality of life. Those who left universally think the normal American life is very limited to a small range of options and after spending time in 92 countries , the stress anger and fear that the typical American lives with daily, to me is insane to put up with it. The US and UK are known around the world as "Empires of Lies" and it really is true, not a word spoken or printed by either government is actually true. And that is absorbed by the people who follow suit. Get a visa and come to Russia stop anyone on the street for directions or advice, the stranger will have your interest at heart more than own government for fake superficial friends. It i hard not to love Russia if one experiences the truth and can see that everything your government /media told you since birth was dishonest Good luck and travel soon!

For 2 weeks as a tourist you better bring cache, order t-bank(old name - tinkoff) account and put your USD cache usign ATM to your account. Tinkoff ATM accepts USD and can convert it to rubles automatically. A lot places in Russia requires plastic card and even if cache is an option - it is not so convenient as plastic card. Short term rent prices is much higher. Be ready to spend 800$/week for an apartments similar to what you see on this video. I am a Russian, I visited Moscow in June and that is my experience. You can find much cheaper price for an apartments, but it will be far away from center, about 1h ride on a metro for example. All other cities in Russia are much cheaper in terms of rent. Even St.Petersburg.
In fact, you can open a card within 15-20 minutes in any branch of any bank (at least the big ones like Sber, VTB, Alfa) throughout Moscow. Almost no one uses cash, usually even in tiny stores to pay with a card or FaceID (will need to activate before). No signatures on checks or anything else required. You just put the card to the terminal. You can also transfer money simply by phone number within seconds. So you can even buy milk from a farm that doesn't have a bank terminal.
Might I just say I love this format and you're touching on points that most aren't usually touching on. Such as the football! I was planning on going to watch a game at some point actually, but I don't know where to start with finding a team.

Russian and Celtic are fraternal languages and have many similar features. That's why Russians and Celts have the same accent. For the same reason, people confuse Portuguese and Russian speech. Portuguese cometh from Galician (Galego), Galician from Celtic (for example, Irish - Gaeilge). I root for our brothers the Celts (whom alternative Russian history also considereth Slavs), and I hope that the Celts will again become free and remember their roots and their wonderful languages.

Согласно законам иностранец не может работать в России без рабочей визы. Раз в год предприятия подают заявки на привлечения иностранцев и в зависимости от города или региона правительство выделяет квоты на привлечение иностранцев на работу. Предприятие согласует с иностранцем визу и предоставляет жилье (гостиница. арендная квартира, дом), и готовит все необходимые документы (страховка налоги счета).

@@Chaldon-hl6ykit's not "military draft", it's mandatory military service which must be completed by any healthy adult man who is not in process of receiving higher education. Countries like South Korea, Switzerland or Israel have the same thing. The only "draft" that happened since Afghanistan war was in September-December of 2022 during which ~250 000 troops were mobilised from those who either completed their mandatory military service or had other kind of military education.

I visited the USSR in1985 Moscow, Alma Ata, Samarkand, Bukhara, Dushanbe (small earthquake) and Tashkent then Leningrad, we went hungry quite a bit on that holiday, god kmows what the average person had to eat.then. We flew in a propeller plane Snton 25? and landed at an airfield where lines of vety yound soldiers wete boarding helicopters to go to Afghanistan. It's truly amazing to see how much the quality of life has improved for ordinary Russians and nloody good luck to them. I hope to visit again before i get too old and past it !
All new(>2000 probably) buildings are wheelchair accessible which is good not only for wheelchair but also for a baby stroller. You lives in a an old building obviously. The smallest mortage rates in Russia we had around 2019 year - it was about 8-9% without any social programs. If I would knew the future, I would not close my mortage in 2021. I assume the rates should go down to 12-14% in about 2 years. Before July, Russian citizens could have 8% mortage if they have a baby < 7(?) years old with special goverment program. And this program made a huge boost to apartments prices, so the goverment closed it recently. Also any employer of IT company can have 6% mortage while he is working in IT company. I am going to use it at the end of this year. Not because I need another apartments, but as an investment.

In the northern part of St. Petersburg, the Russians have an old building they use near the sea territory shared with Finland and Estonia, have you ever been to St. Petersburg?
he has a really nice apartment in a cool location. so the price is reasonable. But for living, of course, you can find a much cheaper apartment. Including in the suburbs - the Moscow Central Diameters take you to the center in 20 minutes by an excellent train..... my colleague came from a neighboring city to the office by Moscow Central Diameters faster than I did by metro.
re: Bring dollars. Not just "good ones". Preferrably new, feshly printed. Otherwise, carefully examen banknotes: There should be not a single mark on them. Watch out for any tiny ink mark. Russian banks are very picky accepting dollars to an extreme

There is great demand in Russia; this market is ready to accept a huge number of people. There are countless projects, and large sites for finding IT workers are full of vacancies. Unfortunately, it is impossible to name these sites here, because the yt filter will cut it, but they are not difficult to find ^_^

It depends on the quantity of teaching hours, administrative activities you take, your qualification(degrees), extra classes you take. Also it depends on a type of school you teach in(state, private), a region of it. I got paid 120k~ roubles per month after all taxes in a good moscow state school 3 years ago, but I had a lot of classes (foreign and domestic history, social science and a basic law) and hours. Also I took some administrative stuff work like a mentoring for a group, and some extra off-school courses to teach. 😗

Nothing creates more irritation against handicapped people than a country where every single public place has excessive handicap parking spots that are always empty and the lot is full and people have to go through aggravation to go far in bad location spots.
@@bellaadamowicz8380 It is a sign of a decent society but it is not optimized correctly. Now stores also reserve prime parking spots for online buy pick ups, right next to handicap. So you see 10+ empty spots closest to the doors while the rest of parking is filled, which adds even more irritation against these practices. lazy f b who don't want to put a foot on the floor and walk in the store. I use the pickup spots anyway as it is not illegal to park there. These days corporate deciders have no clue how they are irritating customers by doing things that they thing is good.

In Moscow, in the city center, not far from the Kremlin, there is a very beautiful Anglican Church of St. Andrew the First-Called. There you will find many parishioners from the USA, Scotland, England and South Africa.
There are Catholic churches and there are Lutheran churches.
On Sunday you will find a lot of expats and others there to work with.

Bring USD or Euros, clean banknotes. Get a simcard for your phone then go open a bank account. Change money and deposit in the new account.Use your new MIR card to pay for everything. Whole process takes about 2hrs.

Do not change foreign currency at the bank because the exchange rate is poor, in fact 50% commission so only change if you do not care about losing 1/2 your money.
Also, do not change at the airport, because it is also a poor exchange rate but you might need to change $20 just to get a Yandex taxi to your destination,
Go to any phone store, there are everywhere and get a SIM card for your phone. Everything in Russian cities are phone optimized so getting that phone number is first priority, and offices for the main phone networks are everywhere including at the airport terminal The two largest are Megafon, MTS and BeeLine but there are others that are cheaper with fewer options. All are cheap compared to the west. My phone charges are about $6/month. Once that is activated in a few minutes in the shop, download all the Yandex apps something like Google but better in all ways. Their maps app is really good but tracking in Moscow city enter is limited in accuracy temporarily due to the US/Ukraine missile attacks that use GPS or Russian version GLONASS.
The apps by Yandex are really good such as the translate program is excellent in text or speech translation. Yandex Drive and Taxi are very convenient and relatively cheap so there is no reason to rent a car. Even Americans who live in their cars find that life is so much better NOT having a car where there are so many cheap safe and convenient transportation options. The cost of living dropped $1000-3000 a month by not having a car compared to living in the US where you really can't live without a personal car. Getting to know the bus, tram, trolley, ride share, electric scooters/bike, Yandex Drive yourself cars everywhere, train and the spectacular Metro, subway system your options are real improvements in quality of life over being tied to your car back home. The streets are safe and cities beautiful for walking is a desirable option.
There are specialty exchange banks all over however that give excellent rates. There is a chain that have many offices all over the country such as Avandgard Bank where there is 2-3% difference between buy/sell rates that change constantly through the day due to Central bank rate adjustments but the change is usually a fraction of 1%
They are picky about the conditions of the notes however. Before coming to Russia go to your bank and ask them to reserve new uncirculated bills. Any marks, signs of wear, dirt, ink marks etc causes those bills to be useless in Russia. There are some tourist focused exchange booths near tourist areas or in hotels that will take them but at very poor exchange rates.
When you have rubles. go to a major bank, such as SberBank which is actually owned by the government and has many thousands of branches everywhere in the country. All the banks are good, honest and provide good services. In fact all the businesses and the people are more honest than what you are used to in your own country.
It takes less than an hour to open a bank about and get a debit card without your name on it, and if you need one with your name on it, it will take a few day to get your card. All the ATMs have language choices so they will be easy to use. After having the card with your initial deposit, the entire city opens to you. You can use the card as your transportation card on buses, ride share, scooters, you drive cars by Yandex that are parked all over a city and once you have an account and its app, on your smart phone you can drive any of their nice 5pa full size SUVs parked all over the city but I do not advise it until you know the city well and can read the signs.
Socializing and dating! You will find people just get a long and women are not afraid of men and actually like men. The best advantage about living in or visiting Russia is the access to social and cultural life. If a guy is polite and has something interesting to say he an meet anyone you see. Just do not be a creep, aggressive or self entitled.
If you have something interesting to say, a pleasant conversation will result, anywhere, in a shopping mall, during intermission at the opera, in a park, in a museum.
Being polite, well spoken and pleasant goes a long ways. Males and females actually like each other here. Do not be surprised however that the person you are talking to is much better educated, cultured and better traveled than the western foreigner. Don't brag, being more humble gets you further. There is a very active social scene so every evening pubs, clubs, jazz clubs, museums, galleries, parks, restaurants etc are full, they are not home watching TV. The pub life in UK and US is dying but in Russia they are very social and active, friendly usually having good food and primarily beer, hard spirits are not that popular.
One thing you will notice is how good of shape people are in, they walk a lot, have very healthy food and are physically active. Parks are everywhere so a long stroll in an park is a very nice way to get to know someone, save the opera or ballet to later, they will be very familiar with the arts. If staying in another city, not Moscow there will be a lot lower expectations for what is considered a serious date.
Even though women outnumber men in heading businesses and universities, they remain feminine, especially in smaller cities. Even small cities have live drama, ballet, opera, symphonic halls. Do not be surprised if your new friend has traveled to more countries than you have, they are avid travelers and adapt to new societies with ease and fit in anywhere. Regardless of your degrees, odds are that she has a much broader and deeper education.
I have dated in most of the 92 countries I have spent time in and the most cultured and broadly educated are surely Russian. I have lived fulltime here 24 years but visited many times back to the Soviet era
Additional notes of interest to those wanting to experience Russia:
Work, the most common foreigner job is language teacher but it is remarkably easy to start a business here. You might need to enlist help from a citizen because a foreigner, even on the 3 year visa you are not supposed to have job or own a business, but being a partner is not a problem so the first business I started was with my GF being the legal owner and me being the investor. It was a small repair shop for professional audio equipment started in 2001, and still going, Income was modest but more than cost of living plus 2 months a year traveling. Then added an incoming tour operator business that was seasonal, only active in the spring and summer but paid my staff all year so we had an advantage over the competition who at the end of the cruise season layed everyone off. I wanted the best people so hired the for year round but they has from end of Sept to April as paid vacation. Russian business owners thought I was crazy but because were ready to go when the competitors were trying to find new staff they had 2 months of ineffective time where were the most important months for booking. So the second season my return to work was with fully experience staff and we grew to second largest in a field of 73 competitors and had grown to 83 staff. It as a field I was never in before but used basic common sense became the second largest in the field of cruise ship passenger shore excursions and then got contracts with ships to provide the 2-3 day port call shore excursions. I wrote all the software to automate almost everything so did really well until Covid shut down ships arriving in St Petersburg. I opened a pro photo studio where due to my many contacts in the film and live theater field ,most clients are stage actors. There are 237 drama theaters within walking distance from my city enter home doing actor portfolios and conducting popular actor workshops twice a month for 2-3 master classes on how to transition for theater to cinema which is all based in Moscow. Each 2-3 class has 30-60 actors attending. I also do consulting on sound systems for clubs, venues and such and pretty well known in the musician and singer field, everyone knows me from my main business in California for having a top recording studio complex where we recorded 197 gold and platinum albums, groups and albums you likely know well.
If someone has a good idea and understands the potential market starting a small business is remarkabley each and low cost in Russia.Every year it gets easier as the rules and regulations get simpler. The odds of a small business thriving is very high compared to the US or UK where cost of living is high and the owners burn through their starting cash before turning a profit. kills most small business start ups
I live a VERY nice life, far better than when I was successful in California but cost of living was so high. My basic cost of living in the city center of St Petersburg, is about $1400 a month for two people living a VERY active social and cultural life that would be impossible to duplicate in the US for $500,000 a year. Dating is about 10,000% more pleasant and enjoyable than is even possible in the US.
I gave everything away i the US, car collection, an airplane, 6 homes, 12 businesses to the employees and came here to Russia with 2 suit cases and $6000 in my pocket and arrived on the same day that Putin was sworn in as president the first time. Everyone thought I was crazy but it has been a wonderful life choice, with more great friends, more access to culture within walking distance than all the US combined. Surely it is not for everyone, because many Americans are addicted to strife and stress and are used to being limited to very narrow constrained lives and shout to all who will listen to their claims of being the richest more powerful country and best quality of life. Those who left universally think the normal American life is very limited to a small range of options and after spending time in 92 countries , the stress anger and fear that the typical American lives with daily, to me is insane to put up with it. The US and UK are known around the world as "Empires of Lies" and it really is true, not a word spoken or printed by either government is actually true. And that is absorbed by the people who follow suit.
Get a visa and come to Russia stop anyone on the street for directions or advice, the stranger will have your interest at heart more than own government for fake superficial friends. It i hard not to love Russia if one experiences the truth and can see that everything your government /media told you since birth was dishonest

For 2 weeks as a tourist you better bring cache, order t-bank(old name - tinkoff) account and put your USD cache usign ATM to your account. Tinkoff ATM accepts USD and can convert it to rubles automatically.
A lot places in Russia requires plastic card and even if cache is an option - it is not so convenient as plastic card.
Short term rent prices is much higher. Be ready to spend 800$/week for an apartments similar to what you see on this video. I am a Russian, I visited Moscow in June and that is my experience.
You can find much cheaper price for an apartments, but it will be far away from center, about 1h ride on a metro for example.
All other cities in Russia are much cheaper in terms of rent. Even St.Petersburg.
In fact, you can open a card within 15-20 minutes in any branch of any bank (at least the big ones like Sber, VTB, Alfa) throughout Moscow. Almost no one uses cash, usually even in tiny stores to pay with a card or FaceID (will need to activate before). No signatures on checks or anything else required. You just put the card to the terminal. You can also transfer money simply by phone number within seconds. So you can even buy milk from a farm that doesn't have a bank terminal.
Carsharing, scooters - you need a card for all of that. cabs - a card is much more convenient than cash

The only "draft" that happened since Afghanistan war was in September-December of 2022 during which ~250 000 troops were mobilised from those who either completed their mandatory military service or had other kind of military education.

I visited the USSR in1985 Moscow, Alma Ata, Samarkand, Bukhara, Dushanbe (small earthquake) and Tashkent then Leningrad, we went hungry quite a bit on that holiday, god kmows what the average person had to eat.then. We flew in a propeller plane Snton 25? and landed at an airfield where lines of vety yound soldiers wete boarding helicopters to go to Afghanistan.
It's truly amazing to see how much the quality of life has improved for ordinary Russians and nloody good luck to them. I hope to visit again before i get too old and past it !

All new(>2000 probably) buildings are wheelchair accessible which is good not only for wheelchair but also for a baby stroller. You lives in a an old building obviously.
The smallest mortage rates in Russia we had around 2019 year - it was about 8-9% without any social programs. If I would knew the future, I would not close my mortage in 2021.
I assume the rates should go down to 12-14% in about 2 years.
Before July, Russian citizens could have 8% mortage if they have a baby < 7(?) years old with special goverment program. And this program made a huge boost to apartments prices, so the goverment closed it recently.
Also any employer of IT company can have 6% mortage while he is working in IT company. I am going to use it at the end of this year. Not because I need another apartments, but as an investment.

he has a really nice apartment in a cool location. so the price is reasonable. But for living, of course, you can find a much cheaper apartment. Including in the suburbs - the Moscow Central Diameters take you to the center in 20 minutes by an excellent train.....
my colleague came from a neighboring city to the office by Moscow Central Diameters faster than I did by metro.
re: Bring dollars. Not just "good ones". Preferrably new, feshly printed. Otherwise, carefully examen banknotes: There should be not a single mark on them. Watch out for any tiny ink mark. Russian banks are very picky accepting dollars to an extreme

It depends on the quantity of teaching hours, administrative activities you take, your qualification(degrees), extra classes you take. Also it depends on a type of school you teach in(state, private), a region of it. I got paid 120k~ roubles per month after all taxes in a good moscow state school 3 years ago, but I had a lot of classes (foreign and domestic history, social science and a basic law) and hours. Also I took some administrative stuff work like a mentoring for a group, and some extra off-school courses to teach. 😗

Nothing creates more irritation against handicapped people than a country where every single public place has excessive handicap parking spots that are always empty and the lot is full and people have to go through aggravation to go far in bad location spots.

@@bellaadamowicz8380 It is a sign of a decent society but it is not optimized correctly. Now stores also reserve prime parking spots for online buy pick ups, right next to handicap. So you see 10+ empty spots closest to the doors while the rest of parking is filled, which adds even more irritation against these practices. lazy f b who don't want to put a foot on the floor and walk in the store. I use the pickup spots anyway as it is not illegal to park there. These days corporate deciders have no clue how they are irritating customers by doing things that they thing is good.
