Mike I'm so proud of you how far you've come from when you started. When I saw you the first time soon after you started I right away felt you had a point of view that was special and important. Your videos show this town better than anyone else. The real LA. With all its beauty, pathos, scrung and soaring vast uniqueness. There's no place like LA. I don't care who hates/loves/despises/worships this city, LA doesn't care and it just keeps being itself (I love LA). And you're growing into this so well, even though you often don't know what you want to do or whether you'll get something, you always do and it always has your special respectful appreciative artistic viewpoint.
why is human suffering news worthy? its a car accident how should something like that news at all? back in the days the news where 30 minutes now its 24hours back in the day they got it right.
@@jorgjorgsen7528 Its to try to inform people of the dangers on the road, if the news NEVER reported a car crash people would think, WOW we have the safest roads in the world lets all go drive drunk and at 60 mph past this school just as the kids are going home..
I hope no one gives you any negativity with this. Im happy you went out there and showed the reality of things that can happen. I personally started watching your videos about the reality of homelessness in California i think what you do is very much needed! Please dont stop what youre doing you are appreciated we love the GIV!!!
Mike this is your channel, stop apologizing for the content you create, if they don't like it they can go somewhere else!! You will never be able to please everyone!! Again, this is YOUR channel!! Scott is dope...love that you did this!!
Netflix (Canada) is still streaming the Shot in the Dark series about the competition of Scott and other stringers for anyone interested. Tough work and I noticed Scott is pretty desensitized but I am glad you are a good guy Mike. You feel for people and that is a great quality. Thank you for bringing us another unique story about your home. All the best, Mike!!!
Wow...This reminds me of back in the day when I had 12 police/fire/ambulance scanners, a CB radio, and a 2-way radio in my Tow Truck... I still hear voices in my head... lol
Absolutely. And it's not watered down or infused with Political Correctness, either, like TV news. (Network news lost its real-reporting edge a long time ago, IMO.)
Be careful out there late at night Mike. Most accidents happen late at night. Thanks for this insight to what its like to be a stinger. But sure hope you have more uplifting stories like you grocery shopping or doing sit ups at 12am on Rodeo Drive. We love watching you do normal things. You never bore us as we love our GIV!
Great video, Mike,You are showing what is happening in the city, not showing it doesn't keep it from happening. This is reality. Real life isn't always sunshine on the beach.
This video recording business probably adds great value to the insurance companies, lawyers and police depts, relating facts and actual evidence, in case of legal disputes.
Mike, you seem a bit tender-hearted for this type of filming. Not everybody is cut out to handle the adrenaline-rushed corner of life. That's not a bad thing -it takes all of us working together. I'm glad you got to ride along but I wonder how long it will take before you're ready to do it again.
People get mad at every little thing these days, no need for apologizing. They are old enough to stop watching the video if it's going to make them cry. Awesome vid thank you!!
Many people don’t know how common car accidents are. A motor vehicle is like a loaded weapon and it’s so important to drive safely and use your seatbelt. Praying before you get behind the wheel doesn’t hurt too.
Did a quick search "Crenshaw Blvd Pedestrian Fatality" and a KTLA story popped right up. "Police seek hit-and-run driver in woman’s death, The vehicle that hit her, possibly a tan-colored sedan, was headed south on Crenshaw when it struck her. It then fled onto Vernon Avenue and then Victoria Avenue, police said." Check KTLA for the rest of it.
You have both made decisions to do this work ... we all have to make decisions ... live w/ your decisions & keep on keeping on ... do your work as you are & you will be successful & stronger in your work. Tough jobs require tough decisions & Thank You
Very good video, GIV. Yes,Mike, it is very intense. And you were just a spectator. Imagine what it must be like for the police, firefighters, EMS workers who are exposed to it everyday. Your emotions were heightened, and you started shaking. Imagine dealing with that as a first responder everyday, only you have to hide your emotions and get on with doing your job. I've seen EMT'S and paramedics that left the job because of what they have seen. Even though what your friend does is for news purposes, it still gives people an insight into what happens around the world thousands of times a day. I was a volunteer firefighter for 10 years and witnessed some intense scenes. Although I am too old to do it now, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Very rewarding to have been able to help people who were having the worst day of their lives at some point. You should do another video like this soon, GIV.
PEOPLE ARE GETTING UPSET WITH SOME OF YOUR VIDEOS. WHICH ARE AT TIMES BETTER THAN THE TV NEWS.. SOME OF THE TRUTH THE NEWS WILL NOT SHOW THE PEOPLE.. GREAT JOB KEEP INFORMING US 👍
Thank you for going out of your comfort zone. That must have been intense! You as always were so respectful. Seeing someones life come down to a news story is just life. As harsh as it sounds. We just have to remember like you said, they are part of a family, with relationships and friends and plans. So tragic. I thought you handled it so well. Thank you.
Wow.... Mike, this was an amazing video... so real and exciting to watch the "inside" of these guys whom go to the scenes and then we see these stories eventually on the news. Great job GIV.
I never ever ever ever comment but wow ! Amazing. To see behind the scenes I’ve been following Onscene Tv for a looong time 🎉🎉🎉😊 good job GIV hope you keep making more fun videos like this
pretty intense video ,reminds me of being back on the job, thanks for sharing ,sad people have to loose their lives ,but it happens every day ,thanks for sharing mike
GIV been long time follower of Scott but been missing your videos..loved your coverage of Venice Beach.....saw you were riding with Scott so came here to watch it...glad you got a ride time with who you now know is LONG LONG time independent reporter of news.
The GIV LA/Venice news! Exciting stuff Mike! Since it's night time, I guess your not covering the naked ladies fighting with spiked bats on Venice Beach! Nice coverage and interesting how they cover the stories as it happens!
This was an excellent video. I watch several of these channels. Some real professionals and some just getting started. It is nice to see the expensive equipment that is needed. It was awesome going behind the scenes. Anyone that doesn't want to watch....don't watch. You can read the title of the video before you watch. Many of them feed the homeless (viewer funded) when the calls are slow. They bring them blankets and food and shoes and socks. Great job GIV
Saw GIV over on Scott's channel and just subbed to your channel too GIV -- it's the least I can do as an American of German heritage (my late mutti was born in Bremerhaven and spent her teens in Hamburg during WW II). Keep up the great work GIV, and best wishes for growing your YT channel. Tschüss! 🇺🇲 🇩🇪 👍
I like Scott’s videos and have watched them before, so I knew this video was going to be great. It’s a wake up call to watch these clips and I’ve even showed some to my teenagers so they can see what happens if you don’t take driving seriously, drive drunk, wrecklessly, too tired, negligent, etc. I don’t want to scare them, but I need them to see the reality we only hear about … so they don’t make the wrong choices / decisions. I could never do what Scott does but I thank him for doing it and with heart. And thank you, Mike (and Scott) for allowing us to see the realities so we can smell the roses more, say more prayers of thanks, and to be grateful for the gift of life every day we’re alive.❤
Get yourself a scanner and when you’re out at night thinking of a video to do you can make some more content like this. A lot of your subscribers including me love this kind of content.
First of all, you have very, very, good energy . I’m very glad I found your channel. I watch Onscene TV every new video they put out, so putting a face to that channel is cool.
Nice Scott reports the real news!! So much fake news out there nowadays. Great Video Mike you shoot a broad range of topics on your channel, always informative and interesting.
In doing your neat videos.... variety of the different themes, subjects, locations will garner you your 2 million subscribers..and many more! Keep up the good work. Your one of my favorite channels!
I didn't knew anything about this (job). But I think it is as important as anything else; just document real life for the future. Thank you for an interesting video, GIV.
Great! I hope you can do more like these - Scott rocks at his job and for those complaining, When you guys arrived first at a single car collision, his lights provided a level of safety for the driver of that car.
Don't feel bad Mike. This is real life, it happens, and you were there to catch it.
Thank you GIV and Scott.
It was great meeting you! Appreciate the shoutout as well!
Props to the stinger guy can tell he's passionate about what he does. Great video giv! I need to make sure I slow down on the 405
We saw a miracle. The survivor of one of the horrific traffic accidents. God Bless Him. God Bless Them All.

I couldn’t of said it better myself!!!
Absolutely 👏
Scott and his team do a great job of covering breaking news in the Southland!
why is human suffering news worthy? its a car accident how should something like that news at all? back in the days the news where 30 minutes now its 24hours back in the day they got it right.
Car crashes I don't consider news really. But it does make me want to stay off the roads when I hear head-ons caused by drunk drivers.
@@jorgjorgsen7528 Its to try to inform people of the dangers on the road, if the news NEVER reported a car crash people would think, WOW we have the safest roads in the world lets all go drive drunk and at 60 mph past this school just as the kids are going home..
This is great. As a long time sub for you and Scott and other stringers, it was truly great to see this collaboration. Great work 👏
Am amazing behind the scenes view of Scott's work. Thanks Mike for documenting this.
I hope no one gives you any negativity with this. Im happy you went out there and showed the reality of things that can happen. Great information. Legal journalism mixed with GIV Art journalism. Great show 👏 👍
Prayers to the folks injured/lost out there and those who take care of them🙏
You did great Mike! I watched live. Great exposure for more viewers.
Mike, You said a few times my heart is pounding....I know, I was just watching you and MY heart was also pounding! Yes, Mike, Life is fragile.🙏
Hey Scott, I used to watch your channel several years ago and quit, now I saw you again in GiV, I am a subscriber again.

Mike this is your channel, stop apologizing for the content you create, if they don't like it they can go somewhere else!! You will never be able to please everyone!! Again, this is YOUR channel!! Scott is dope...love that you did this!!
Videos like this are good because it reminds you how dangerous the roads and drunk drivers can be. Great video GIV and Scott👍
GIV this is my favorite video you have done. As a paramedic for many years it is cool to see this side of things. Prayers for the victims.
You doing great Mike. Very interesting to document this in your style. This is pretty cool. Thanks.
Really great video thank you for this video and for all the hard work that you do daily GIV!

Really good video ,I've watched Scott know for a few years ! He just covers the news . Thumbs up GIV !
I am in Canada and watch your videos regularly.
Better than network television
Absolutely. And it's not watered down or infused with Political Correctness, either, like TV news. (Network news lost its real-reporting edge a long time ago, IMO.)
Of course it is. Network tel lie vision is nothing more than teleprompter readers.

Awesome! Was fun watching you both together 😀
Someone needs to report the news and most of these guys do a great job. There is nothing wrong with keeping people informed. Great video, Mike.
This video recording business probably adds great value to the insurance companies, lawyers and police depts, relating facts and actual evidence, in case of legal disputes.
We appreciate your work German, happy to see you posting all the time
Nice collaboration, Mike and Scott. The more we can understand about one another, the better this world will be.
Really enjoyed the ride along- Scott’s a good dude!
This was a great video. Happy that you were able to travel along. Very intense but I suppose the more you do this, you get used to it.
He must be a good dude to allow our friend GIV to see the inside information of his trade love u man just makes my day that your so kind
This was a great video Mike. So interesting! Thanks for making it. AWESOME.

Many people don’t know how common car accidents are. A motor vehicle is like a loaded weapon and it’s so important to drive safely and use your seatbelt. Praying before you get behind the wheel doesn’t hurt too.
GiV gets a big dose of big city reality; always great to see and hear you.

You have both made decisions to do this work ... we all have to make decisions ... live w/ your decisions & keep on keeping on ... do your work as you are & you will be successful & stronger in your work. Tough jobs require tough decisions & Thank You
Very cool vid. Your documentation of LA has seen it all now. I felt your nerves and your hesitation but you did great 👍
Everything you do is cool Mike, you’re the GIV! Brother, Relax, smile and keep doing you you’re the man
Great video - so many conflicting emotions but the main part is you both documenting what happened!

Great video! I remember watching a movie called The Night Crawler and that's how I learned of this business.
Wow.... Mike, this was an amazing video... so real and exciting to watch the "inside" of these guys whom go to the scenes and then we see these stories eventually on the news. Great job GIV.

Nice job on this episode.
You showed a side of news reporting we seldom see.
Hats off to the first responders also!
Great! I hope you can do more like these - Scott rocks at his job and for those complaining, When you guys arrived first at a single car collision, his lights provided a level of safety for the driver of that car.
Legends. Be Chasing Reality for a few years now. This is a great look at behind the scenes.
