Family of origin doesn't mean anything. Money doesn't make a family functional. The opposite can be true, and you wouldn't believe at what level. It's not uncommon for wealthy families to disown children, or have them institutionalized if they think it protects their family image.

Daisy explains very well that she came from a disorganized detachment style growing up, which lead to her current mental/emotional problems, where feeling were not acknowledged or dealt with. Her father was actually an alcoholic and drug addict and died of cirrhosis of the liver, very sad!
This is a perfect example of how shallow our culture is. People only care about looks. Especially the media. Most homeless people are broken by their experiences, dirty, and unattractive. Nobody has any empathy for them.

There's a film with Natalie Wood from 1965 called 'Inside Daisy Clover'....where Daisy is a homeless woman who lives at the beach. She ends up gaining attention and becomes famous. This is eerily similar in concept down to the name.

The 3rd child, a daughter, was adopted by a family in Orange County that will not permit Daisy to see her. Her mother also has a restraining order against her. So I don't think her parents are paying her rent.
According to Daisy, her grandfather was an ambassador to Paraguay and Panama, knew President Reagan and President Bush, and was a friend of Bill Coors, the chairman of Coors Brewing Company. She also says that there are pictures of her and her family with President Reagan and President Bush.
So apparently she did come from a background of privilege, and, by her own admission, in her 20s she aspired to become a "sugar baby" and live off of rich men.
So I assume that's who's paying her rent: a sugar daddy.
She just wants attention. Its' pretty pathetic and really unbearable that she gets it.

She’s newsworthy because her dad is famous. Daisy would probably be much better off if she had regular supervised access to her children. Take a mother’s children away and she will absolutely lose her ever loving mind. I hope she is one day able to have a united family and that she becomes more stable because of that. I feel she has a need to nurture and this is the alternative outlet she has chosen to replace not being able to be with her children. A bit rebellious and she likes to perform. This is probably due to lack of attention when she was a child and becoming a mother before she was mentally prepared and past her own childhood trauma. Super complicated.
