I know that ambulance haha the stories it could tell. I have ran a many of calls in that thing glad your getting your use out of it! (Assuming it was purchased from Biglerville Hose and Truck Company)
It’s a great idea. In the back packing world, we call that a shake down. It’s good to see what you can and can’t live without 😊👍🏼 I’m getting my ambo soon! 🎉
Ambulance modules are built extremely well. They can last decades without any problems. Aluminum and stainless steel don't rust, and that is why when the truck that hauls it is finished and rusted out, people use them again on a new truck.
I love my 1991 Ford e350 RVambulance with her 7.3 L IDI engine! Would prefer the truck cab for engine access, but my Blossom is sweet! Weve taken one trip from KY to AZ and back with plans to go back in the spring. Interior will be customized after that experience
Phil take a gander at "DIY Expedition Vehicle" Camper build by the Casey's over in Paso Robles, CA. They fabbed the aluminum ,frame with their plasma table, added DIY aluminum insulated panels and wrapped truck and all in vinyl. Impressive and going on right now.
You should checkout “rescue ambulances” if you haven’t already. National parks are often selling old ones sometimes with hardly any miles. They’re already built to be capable off road.
Hell yeah it's cool the good thing is when building it on the road you know how you want and need it tell him to share especially if he has a channel of his own
I work in EMS so at 6’2” I’m used to not being able to stand in the rigs, but we sit for the most part, I guess living in it would be different. That being said I work in some Braun’s that I can stand in.
I think they are total badass with the extra compartments and you know they were built tough, not some rv manufacturer trying to shave off 10 lbs here and 20 lbs there.

Such an awesome rig! Even better that he's building on the go, I'd love to have the opportunity to live that lifestyle some day, I'll need everyone's help talking my wife into it haha!
Tell her you are going to drive from Alaska to Argentina, and you want her to go with.... if she says no, tell her that you’ll be gone for at least two years then, see her when you get back.
@@Rick_Sanchez_C137_ yeah I know, but I recently found something I really like doing and really good at! My work could take me around the globe, but will never be online only
The idea is interesting to me if I could find a tall box one, I am 6'2. I am afraid one may give me PTSD flashbacks though, LOL, since I am a Firefighter/Medic.
AUSTONING VIEWS 😀😀😀👏 WE are also looking to buy a vehicle where we can camp in and travel more!!! Since this pandemic we have stopped flying and are looking to take the road 🤩🤩🤩 I'm so excited
Our ExpeditionVehicle: Cummins 8.3 mechanical, Allison 3060. Over two decades full-time live-aboard. We rarely get better than 14mpg. . We rarely travel more than a hundred miles a month. Fuel is a very minor part of the budget.
2003, we built our ExpeditionVehicle on a 1996 Ford CF8000 commercial truck. Over two decades full-time live-aboard. . I am 6'3", so we fabricated our interior to fit.
Google “ambulance for sale” they are all over the place, sometimes good deals.... get a loan from your bank, license/insure it as an RV, rip out what you don’t want, build it how you like... live free, enjoy the dream!
Question for Brian. Is the rear suspension a 4 link with air bags? If so how did you lift it enough to fit 41" tires inside the rear wheels. Are you thinking of converting to some Deaver rear springs eventually?
My second time seeing someone have an ambulance build! It is a very unique ride, Love it! How much for a shell like that to get started? Great content! Keep it coming
Great content wow rig tour was awesome . He is saying he doesn't want to show you . But you show us . Great entertaining content just showing the ambulance from outside thats awesome . Isn't Ok . Wow . Great You don't have to make videos in every 3 days just take a month and put a good video . You know how to edit but you need content. By for some months i will only see gladiator build videos . Peace out. I know you make living on TH-cam but it doesn't mean that i want to watch low content video Lol . Peace out
I hated to see him spray painting over the orange. I hope that he keeps the sides with orange. It make his rig so unique and not just another white ambulance/ box truck.
You are like a stalker...lol...I have an ambulance I plan to build that I cannot stand up in all the way...I figured why do I need to stand up all the way at 6'1", if I bend my legs a little bit I become 5'6" and fit without bending over in an uncomfortable way. Options exist in all that we do and it helps your legs to become strong while you cook or do other standing chores.
I know that ambulance haha the stories it could tell. I have ran a many of calls in that thing glad your getting your use out of it! (Assuming it was purchased from Biglerville Hose and Truck Company)
The Pumpkin rides again. So glad that Brian is giving continued life to our retired ambo !! Be safe out there.

I think its TOTALLY COOL!
I work at an Ambulance service, and totally agree that an ambulance is the BEST vehicle for camping/off grid traveling.
Brian listen to your friend. We out here in TH-cam land want to see your build from start to finish.
Had one myself for a while. Not being able to stand up got real old real fast!!
Great job Brian! I have been keeping an eye out for one of those. A lot of people talk but you are a man of action. Love it and rock on!
I’m building my 3500 cargo Chevy express while living in it! Way to go Brian! It IS COOL!!!
Love the ambulance! That’s what I’m going to be building.
Sweet Rig 🤙🏼 thanks for sharing - Looking forward to the full tour 🤙🏼 Ray
The best part is you live in it and find out along the way what works, what needs changing. Before its done, Smart!
This is exactly what I want to do. Not same vehicle, but build while I travel. Love it! Go Brian

EDIT::: 2004 F450 6.0* on 31s Phil!!! He had 40.5s three months ago and they faded away to 31s. Bringles is pissed. Insert SAD LEAVES
I think it’s cool. Probably one of my favorite platforms to see built
Dude needs to get some King Shocks to control the bouncing

for a 5 foot 5 filipino like me, that 5'9" height is like a mansion
Have a safe blessed day! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Dude get yourself a heat gun or even a high power blow dryer and put some heat on those orange stripes. They will come off much easier.
Love the rig and looking forward to seeing yours soon
Take a shot every time he says "Building the rig on the road."

I’m building one now, 72” inside height.
Cool rig!! That 7.3 is a beast!
That ambulance is pretty damn cool

Sometimes I wish I was shorter, this Ambu build would be one of them. 6'5" in any Overland vehicle is a challenge!

Best youtube rv build ever.
Do you want to talk bout it?
Brian: No....
That thing is awesome!!!
How many people have you encountered who really don't want you filming them? That is the impression I have of the guy with this rig....
Absolutely COOL
Coolest Build ever!

are there ambo boxes that you can fully stand up?
They're out there buy hard to find.
@craig,

What is the difference between 'fully stand' and regular stand?
Could you list the rims and tires Brian is running?
