My motorcycle has a chain primary drive and doesn't make a sound. I think a lot of the noise here is coming from the inductance of the motor being amplified through the weird soundbox frame, and only a small amount of noise from the engine pulley to the countershaft pulley. Looks like one whole bunch of fun though 👍

Yeah I’ve been thinking The same thing since I got my pre-order for this bike. It feels like the chain is just gonna spit oil and Debris on the belt damaging it and shortening its life. I also questioned just how efficient it is. I feel like turning a gear, to spin a belt, to turn in gear, that will spin a chain, to spin the sprocket on the wheel. It feels like that’s going to have high energy loss and lower the overall range.

!!!!OH I ALMOST FORGOT. SUPER IMPORTANT!!!!Get into contact with Zion. The motor cutting out wasn’t an issue with the gearing. The early models that got sent out, which this is definitely one of them because future models don’t even have chain drive and only have belts right now. The early models were having issues with the tuning on the bike. Causing power to cut out, the motor to stop supplying power etc. contact them and schedule a tuning session or the engine cut out problem will persist until it’s taken care of!

I honestly feel like it's just the lighting that gives it a weird "Rapper Swag" vibe, maybe some people just have a lower tolerance for lighting fx, but otherwise it looks just fine to me. It's amazing how quiet it is with the belt, I thought for sure the second chain was the culprit. I almost thought the audio was messed up at one point because it was so quiet. One thing that concerns me though is the belt and the chain next to each other inside the motor shell. I'd be worried about rubbing and fraying assume it's not designed to give them plenty of room.

Careful pushing the motor. I am in the cyberx VIP group and three people have reported that the shaft for the main sprocket (the one on the motor) has snapped off requiring a full motor replacement. One of the guys reported that it snapped off twice. Once on one motor, and on the replacement motor. Meaning it’s failed a total of 4 times. So if you try to push that motor too hard. It WILL break the driveshaft.

@@TheInja with the gear ratio that you have right now. You’re probably fine. That lower torque will put less strain on the drive shaft. So the higher speed will just be pure benefit. Something to think about before you consider if you REALLY wanna replace that rear sprocket. 😉 tbh I’d just see if they can fix it so that the speedometer is accurate. But then again I’m not one of those torque demons who wants to pull wheelies lol I prefer smoother acceleration rather than twitchy torque filled acceleration. Lol

I am the manager of Polarna, I have sent you the bike for a long time, why don't you reply me, I am waiting for the video promotion, and I have sent many emails. Are you going to take my bike and abandon me?

calling that thing a bicycle is a stretch.....its as ugly as sin, but has awesome stats, id definately do some mods on it to make it better looking, nothing to the setup, cause 70mph is fast enough for any "ebike"
