    I just never understand why people obsess over 2-3 miles difference in mph. I see TH-cams spending 500-1000 in upgrades to get 5 miles or less in speed. Or if odometer if off 2-3 miles. Great video ⚡️⚡️⚡️

    • @ghoul114
      @ghoul114 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I agree totally, all these upgrades just for 2-5 mph more is laughable. I pedal my ebike 20-25 mph to get more range, buy a Honda Ruckus and 41 mph all day, 100 per gallon and then stop at the gas station and fill up in 30 seconds for three bucks. Insurance is about $300 a year. 😂 and it’s brand new for $2800.

      Agreed. Our bike lanes are so littered with rocks and debris not to mention drainage grates, I wouldn’t really want to go 40 mph in these skinny little lanes. At that point a motorcycle in traffic feels like the safer option.

    • @pooptub
      @pooptub 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the difference between 35 and 40mph is a big deal when you’re sharing the road with cars. 45mph is a very common speed limit on roads in the US, hence the motivation for upgrading to that threshold in order to keep up with traffic on those roads.

  • @addertooth1

    I had to set wheel size to 22.8 to get a speedometer number which matched GPS (Motor Goat v3). The Motor Goat v3 also has a higher voltage pack, as it is a 17s5p, as versus a 16s5p.
    I suspect the battery percent is a "longer term average". Powering off and on resets the longer term average, thus showing a lower percentage.

    Hard to decide so many good e bikes.I have 3 scooters kickscooters.I've been riding four years now. Definitely want 60 or 72 V.Cause i'm used to the power from dual motors, But i'm liking this one, Or the brute ,which is obviously more expensive though. I would like something that doesn't slow down any more than forty towards the bottom of the batteryt really. Plus like you said i'm seeinanother videos for this one and people say the top speed drops pretty quick which you would think what dual batteries that wouldn't get lower so quick. I know they all lose the speed.And power but Typically , a fifty two volt battery will go forty to forty three miles per hour, And towards the end will be down at thirty seven or seven or thirty eight I wouldn't expect , This one a sixty vault battery to go down to thirty seven. Especially so quick. Out of all 3 of my scooters, the one with the LG battery drains the slowest.And morose consistent makes a huge difference

    What would be the reasons to get this over the Aniioki Pro 8 Dual Motor? This one barely reaches higher top speed and has much lower range MPC. Additional battery is over $600 on top of the existing ~$2,499 price. Aniioki I believe gets over 50 MPC full throttle going top speed. Sure Aniioki is Chinese, but Motor Goat is pretty much a Chinese ebike with an American face upfront. So I guess people are paying for *hopefully* better aftersales support?

    That motor can handle way more power, it definitely has nothing to do with the motor heating up. In fact, this bike is a prime canadate for a controller swap. All bikes perform worse as the battery drains and the voltage drops. I suspect the voltage and percentage problems are from the battery blender, (blenders suck and they arent needed, a simple parallel connector is all thats needed) or the display itself just isnt functioning correctly.

    • @MrCentralDriver
      @MrCentralDriver  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Js lol I assumed the blender was installed but Im not saying it definitely was the problem. Ive seen them cause similar issues in the past. Also, there may be an over heat protection thats set too low, but that motor is definitely not over heating. I know that motor can handle atleast double the power that bike is pushing, without cooling mods. ive done it! I live in florida! its 100 every day. It wouldnt need cooling mods until it got up over 8 or 9 kw. I have one with statoraid injected! Im not talkin shit man, I love the content and the info, just merely trying to educate. That bike is in no danger of over heating with a 50 amp controller. Mine never did. Before mods. If they have it set up like that, its not right.

      @MrJLiebert heard Road Runner isn't very water resistant though although its very close to what I'm looking for.

    I don’t understand why it’s acceptable for speedometers on e- bikes to be off by 3 or 4 mph. Isn’t accuracy important? If this were the case with cars, it would be scrutinized much more heavily. Why is it different for bikes? Simply put, the speedometer should be accurate. If it’s not, the bike is flawed. This isn’t acceptable. I would be so annoyed-how are you okay with that? You spend all this money on something that should work, but it doesn’t.

      Perhaps firmware update eventually or just using the phone app but I agree with you.

    Same exact gear shift as my aerial Rider grizzly there must be one company in China that makes all these for all the electric bikes
    And unfortunately some of these are nothing but junk just like the motor buys RPS 125 I bought from motorbikes I paid like 825 bucks and I've had nothing but problems with it and it's never ran so now I will take motorbikes to court and get my money back and they will pay the court fees
    I will no longer let these companies rip me off and sell me junk

      I always do my homework when buying higher ticket items and after watching hundreds and I am not joking hundreds of vids. I picked the motor goat 3 and I took it out for a quick shakedown and moved the needle to 45 mph and I weigh 245. Not to shabby. I thank especially
