Great content! I’m in the Communications program and I think your assessment is very fair. I already have an established career that I love, so the degree has more intrinsic value. I also enjoy the content. I’d caution Accounting majors about ACE credits if they think they may want to become a CPA at some point. Research the requirements in your state first so that you don’t have to retake those Sophia classes at a regionally accredited institution.
@@mauricephillips2 I had credits from a previous degree attempt and it took me 3 months at a leisurely pace to transfer some Sophia credits for a total of 62 credits transferred and 61 left, I finished in 4 months exactly.
@@mauricephillips2 I had some previous credits from a previous degree attempt and I did 18 Sophia credits in about 3 months (I had a busy schedule). I guess it's possible to do it all in one year.
In other schools, communication is super easy, but I’m here to tell you, not at WGU. People go into finance/accounting because they like numbers and not so much writing and communicating and vice versa. I’m about to finish my Comms degree at WGU ( 3 classes left), and it’s not so easy. Managerial and financial accounting, 3 project management courses, logistics ( numbers ), Logic and critical thinking ( numbers ), Global business has math and econ, and Financial skills for managers ( math ). Micro/macro econ ( transfer in for social science ) MATH. And Prob/Stats. It’s not as easy as people think. You will get weeded out quickly if you're trying to do it for an easy degree. And most of those are proctored, meaning you can’t just write a paper. You HAVE to know it or fail.
Computer science got an update and is no longer as hackable. They swapped a lot of classes that were available to transfer in with a lot of AI classes. You can still transfer in about 50% though.
@alexsheppe what do you think about the Supply Chain Management vs IT management time for completion? Those are the two I'm deciding between. Any input is appreciated!

I think out of the most hackable ones BSCS is the best ROI. I did it in 4 months with transfers, loved it.
Fully agree.
How long did it take with getting the transfer credit ? I am currently doing study and Sophia to get credit for comp sci.
