You have seen the girl who was partnered with Gojo and Geto--she's Shoko Ieri, the doctor at the school who was going to dissect Yuji after he "died" and then helped Gojo hide his revival. She isn't joining them because she has no combat ability; she is a practitioner of reversed curse techniques, which means that she heals with cursed energy. It's incedibly rare to be able to use reverse curse technique to heal others (Yuta is the only other person who demonstrated this ability) and so she stays off the battlefield because losing her would be pretty catastrophic for the school (eg. in the movie, you saw her having to heal the injured sorcerers coming back from the Night Parade of 100 Demons).

her style change is pretty drastic. she went from really energetic short hair to kind of tired long hair.

Tengen was mentioned in the first season by Geto when he was explaining the invasion plan to Jogo, Tengen is a Jujutsu sorcerer with a immortality power, he is essential to keep up protective barriers across japan, Geto explains that since Tengen doesnt have eternal youth, they dont have to worry about him, they just need to bypass his barrier protecting the hidden inventory, where Mahito ends up stealing the sukuna fingers that the school had.
The camera angle, camera movement, usage of colors, the alleyway and the chill it's giving for the first minutes it's giving me chainsaw man vibe. I love it! ❤

The reason gojo was able to make that shot so easily is because gege stated gojo is good at whatever he does but he tries not to get involved for that same reason
And I think that’s part of Gojo’s problem at this point. He does everything so effortlessly that he can’t really understand how others, who don’t have his talent, feel.

Every time I watch this episode. It’s so melancholy.
I enjoyed the parallel, Geto being the modest, humble guy standing up for the weak. Past Gojo is basically a d*ck, mocking Geto ‘swallowing of curse’ and view non sorcerers as burden.
Geto is so likeable here, it’s a tragedy to how much had change. 😢
love how they didn’t even realize that toji(the dude at the end) took his wife’s name “fushiguro” and megumi is a “fushiguro” meaning one thing(also shoko is the doctor that was gonna dissect yuji when he died

You already saw the third member of Gojo's group in the present.... Ieri Shoko is the doctor who was examining Yujii when he "died" . So, she doesn't die 😃
The reason Shoko isn't often with Gojo and Geto is that she's one of the very few people in the verse with access to reverse curse technique. That's why you see her in the intros/outros with a scalpel or practicing on her peers.
TLDR; Her RCT made her too valuable as a medic, so she didn't travel to dangerous missions as much.

FYI, the first cour of jjk s2 - hidden inventory arc will most probably contain 5 to 6 episodes .The other cour- shibuya arc will contain 17 to 18 episodes which will most probably be the half of the actual shibuya arc story, the other half will be for next season.
No way lol. Shibuya arc can definitely fit in 17-18 episodes. Keep in mind, a lottttt of it is fighting, which is paced way faster when put into anime then dialogue is. Like there's literally so many chapters that are just hand to hand combat or fighting with almost 0 words being said lmfao. If it was a lot of talking then sure I can see it needing more episode, but if they animate 3-4 chapters an episode, 17-18 episodes is definitely enough since its only like 60 chapters (and a lot are just fighting like i said). Idk why y'all think this season will be paced so slowly, Season 1 was 24 episodes and got through 64 chapters, and it had wayyy more talking and dialogue
Mappa already said they are doing whole shibuya in season 2.
And I’ve heard from somewhere on Twitter they’re doing one ep for s1 recap and at least one ep for recap of the movie and then prob end off the season with the “ I will kill itadori yuji myself scene”. Don’t quote me but that’s a rough idea of the seasons pacing. Makes sense if you think since the movie came out almost 2 years ago and it leaves off at a pretty good cliffhanger

This season is gonna be hella good. 10x better than Season 1, this is where JJK really begins.
Love the new art & animation style and production/cinematography. You can definitely tell they took some elements they liked from Chainsaw Man and incorporated it here with the camera panning and 2d animated movement on 3d drawn animated backgrounds. I like how they went for simpler faces/art style so that the movements and facial expressions can be muchhh more fluid and smooth.

Probably important to point out that although there are 3 first year students, they aren't exactly a "3-man squad" like you'd have in Naruto. That's never been the case in JJK. In season 1, there was only one first year student (Fushiguro) for awhile, and in Kyoto there is still only one first year student. Also, like you see in the JJK0 movie, they'll send one or two of them out together, and sometimes just one of them or all three, or a dozen at once. It just depends on the job.
and this makes more sense than Naruto. look how they didn't send Shoto to the frontline. it is because she can use rtc to heal others extremely rare. on the other hand in Naruto, they just send anyone with no plan. like even naruto is their powerhouse he is sent to do a dangerous mission, Hinata a princess who could be kidnap because of her eye. but fuck that, they will send her anyway
Shoko is the school's doctor in the current timeline, you've seen her. About Tengen, he is a human whose cursed technique is Immortality. However, Tengen still ages and after a certain age he evolves into a higher being. When Tengen reaches that stage, he will lose his will and can potentially become an enemy to humanity. So every 500 years, Tengen must merge with a Star Plasma Vessel (basically a human compatible to him) in order to revert the evolution and maintain his humanity

Hello @StruckByBelz. the girl from gojo's and geto's group is the currently primary doctor of tokyo jujutsu high. The one with normally wears white lab coat and always smoking. She is also responsible for examine itadori's death after sukuna removed his heart while fighting megumi.
