Hi, I use 5d classic too, question is that lens manual lens? If so, how do you manage for focusing?
its an old soviet M42 lens, it's manual. i'm not sure how he manages focusing but personally i've bought an M42 to EF adapter with a chip that enables focus confirmation in the viewfinder. works great
