Skyler, I just think that the way you run though tutorials is great you show the bumps and the smooth steps but always explaining the process, great lessons please keep the great tutorials. Thanks
Hello Skyler, Excellent video tutorials! I have learned a lot and I am truly inspired by your work and how you deliver them with such relative ease...👌"Even A Caveman Can Follow Your Instructions"...😂 I am in the process of selecting three background pieces in your honor. Unfortunately, I do not see a related link to ClubBackdrops. Nonetheless, I have selected the Nola Marsh for precisely what you are presenting: Still Life. I have also selected Silver Kelvin. But, I need a their item in order to save on shipping. The color that I am interested in is the goldtone background color that you are rolling at the 1:46 marker after the NOLA MARSH... 😊 TIA 🙏
Another amazing one, looks like a piece of artwork! I'm really curious how you would handle a product shoot with only continuous light or lights. I built a really cool photography table for shooting miniature sets for visual effects. I've rigged up lights and back drop stand to it and it's electronically adjustable (in height) so I don't need to raise and lower camera, the table moves instead. I love it! I only use continuous lights and it's difficult to cancel out ambient light since the continuous lights are not very bright. Mostly use lume cubes and RGB small panel lights. The room has to be pretty dark which is hard to achieve at during the day to have full control of lighting. So I'm curious if you ever use continuous lights and what your process is. Thanks for making such great and inspiring videos..
Omg :) our family loves snow. But we barely get some here at our particular part of WA. Skyler, I want to thank you for all of what you share. I’m 2nd year into my photography career and I have watched bazillions of videos about photography during this period. I also went thru school. A lot, I dare to say vast majority of TH-camrs share just the things they want to share not the whole process from the beginning of the shot to the end plus the editing process. Thus, for the clear and precise, detailed process I thank you! It would be super cool if you share your thoughts on the Sony cameras you have and what u like and don’t like about them. I’m in a midst of changing gear from one brand to another and Sony was one of my options to switch too. I’d like to know how you like your Sony cameras. Thanks!
Thank you so much Taisiya. I am so glad you enjoyed my tutorials. I made playlists so you can find the product photography tutorials easier. I made a video about my cameras a while ago, here it is: Which Sony Camera Should You Buy in 2022? th-cam.com/video/2WzQaHPVemM/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your in-studio lessons, truly helpful. Which light and softbox did you use for this? I was looking at equipment on Amazon link but wasn’t sure which lighting equipment you used…I need to purchase some. Thank you again, amazing work!!

Could you please quickly explain how to get a black frame to check for light bleed? Thx
I shoot im manual. Put my shutter speed at 1/200, ISO at 100 and raise the FStop till I get a completely underexposed image.( usually F8)
