got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I have my eye on one of the earlier Series 8 watches. Super cool modern design. I like that Citizen isn't afraid to do some stuff differently and don't lean on the vintage vibe for all their offerings.
I wish citizen had a bit more of a premium brand they could release these higher end watches under. I can't pay $1k for a watch that looks like a regular citizen, but they're really releasing some cool stuff.
This is super nice, and Citizen is overall my favorite brand but I'm holding off for that new titanium Citizen integrated bracelet watch they just released. Unfortunately they don't seem to be widely available yet but the salmon day/ date will be mine as soon as they are.
Interesting design reminds me of of the Soprod based Nivada Grenchen F77 which also now has in aventurine dial in my city. I am curious which would be the better pick between the two.
One thing I don't like about this watch is the rough edges of the hands in micro zoom view. There are barres on all edges of the hands. Blanks from a thin sheet metal with no after treatment, especially the seconds hand.
compares to many Swiss watches. The only thing missing is the Swiss Made Aura. Ive owned many Swiss autos. These watches offer much more value. Lot less fuss. Like comparing a Lexus to a Jaguar car.
Size aside which is on the larger side i don't know they used black on the hands and hours markers why not brushed SS , black cheapens the look of the dial to be honest.
Really not liking those hands, while they are wide, they look really thin and they have rough finishing around the edges. I don't think they are really achieving that price point, but I like the watch. I like that they are finally trying, and they have something interesting, but I'll see if it's selling for half that price in a year. The competition is just too strong in that price point or lower from Swatch Group for this to compete, IMO
@@SwidrygajlowArek I would say the better watches at this price point would be the federique constant highlife (you can find it less than 2.1K, around 1K), mido multifort TV, nivada grenchen F77, Christopher ward twelve, Maurice lacroix aikon, formex essence, etc. even the PRX powermatic is better than this one imo. Take a look at the maen Manhattan 37 as well
@@23727bgkAlthough from the lume shots in this video it appears that none of the marks on the (internal) bezel are lumed, not even the “triangle”!… I hope Citizen corrects this blatant mistake (otherwise the bezel is not so useful)
I’m in my titanium watch phase and I
appreciate how citizen embraces titanium more than other brands.
Citizen really are on a roll atm. Felt like they always flew under the radar for so many people but now getting some spotlight with the latest models.

I like the way it looks, just wish it was a little smaller, maybe 40-41.

The bracelet is very nice. Overall a very well thought out watch.
i love you so much! I recently just found your nkuwan and i’m in love!! Your videos are so fun and you energy is just MWAH! keep living your life
I’m really digging this watch; I love it! ❤ I might just buy a Series-8 next week. Thanks, and best wishes from the Netherlands!
At almost 1000€ you’re getting a lot of watch for the money. A bit pricey but totally worth it ❤
Chris- thx. I agree with you - real nice 🙌🏻 now have the one with the cooper Sakura dial. Get going 🚀
Good choice!
I just got 2 different series 8 models and i freaking love them
nkuwan Literally the happiest place we men are!
They make this in super titanium I’ll buy it in a second.
Nice design ! Its a Japanese AP. I love it!
I love this watch, I really want to buy one!
👍👍👍 Nice Watch , Elegant Watch , Great Watch , Futuristic Watch best Review by Watch Expert - Watch Chris 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it

I wish it was a little bit smaller, but hey over all it's a solid watch
Great looking Dive Watch... 👍
Mybe if citizen will make
This watch in smaller size
38-40mm it will be appiling
To biger audience and more
Colors.
It would be nice to know what a timegrapher shows as compared to other Citizens.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you #nkuwan !
39mm and no date would be perfect 🙌
Not feeling it. Love my Citizen EcoDrive BN-150 with factory Japanese market matching stainless bracelet with sliding clasp.
Well, might be more interesting if I hadn't just pulled the trigger on a CW Twelve in titanium arriving Monday.
This or they Seiko Alpiniest? With green dial? Which is better

Amazing 👍
Is the bezel crown screw down ?

Looks a lot like the Yema Urban Traveller.
It's a Collaboration of AP and GShock😂😂😂
How does it compare to the Twelve, as similar price
It's like wearing a 12 on top of another 12 it's gigantic
Power reserve?
Size aside which is on the larger side i don't know they used black on the hands and hours markers why not brushed SS , black cheapens the look of the dial to be honest.
How is this beating a CW Twelve Ti?
😍😍
Too large, dial texture is busy too geometrical, but most importantly, it's too expensive for the quality.
For the Andre the giant set
APROO X IWC Aquatimer

lately citizen and timex are trying to outdo each other
Too expensive at its price and needs smaller sizes

Ya is 2025 , watches now are titanium or carbon
This watch was cool 5 years ago now is bit to late at the party
Size and pseudo dive watch face in a dress watch case make no sense
I don't think it's a dress watch? It's a sport luxury watch, like Patek Nautilus
It has a dive bezel
@@23727bgk so does a lot of luxury pieces. People wear Rolex Submariners in the office. Dress and sport overlap in the modern day

What the shit... it's a $2000 watch. I was thinking that it would be an amazing >$600 watch. I guess it would be. No one will buy this. Why.
Too late , the trend is dead already
Who cares about trends, it’s still a good looking watch
Trend? Mate, it’s been alive since its inception in 1970s.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you #nkuwan !
