As a survivor myself of many horrors, this video is an interpretation of the song through dance and what it is meant to represent. Doesn't matter EVER what a women wears or what the context is. Saw Halestorm play this live after I survived a horrific ordeal, this album saved my life. Great song, great video. And as with any art form, free to be interpreted by any body to what fits them the best, or not understand and criticize.
I personally interpret this as a message to the haters from a woman in the hard rock world (which is mostly male) fucking killing it.

i felt like this dance perfectly capture vultures circling each other. They build you up to wait for you to fail and devour your dead body and basically turn on you in a heartbeat. The girl they helped on the wall is the same being singled out in the middle of group as they are forming a circle and is being denied by the group basically. But that could be all of us as they highlight each person that danced. That we could be the ones doing the hurting or the ones being hurt. That's just my interpretation of the song and the dance though. Like that feeling of waiting for one of us to fail to pick us apart.

Well said! That totally hit home with me. Seems like there are always those that are wanting for you to fail so they can pick you apart in hopes of devouring you so your existence can be denied. Most of them call themselves your friend but they are only waiting for your guard to be down to signal & gather more of their kind for the attack!

This might just be my favourite interpretive dance I've seen, really brings out the feeling of the song.
the chorus......"I don't give in, I don't give up, I won't ever let it break me...I'm on fire, I'm a fighter. I'll forever be the last one standing".....no matter what your circumstances, is such a great message to hold onto

Not gonna lie.. this song made me cry. Especially when I heard it live.
Really love this band!
I think the dancers represent survivors of some form of abuse (possibly rape). You can see them suffocating and suffering but they refuse to give up. They hold onto each other, support each other which gives them the needed strength to keep fighting.
(Of course this is only my interpretation of the video.:)

Im agree to me the video not fit the song and distract a little to pay attention on the lyrics.
The video shows these women being exposed, vulnerable, and uncomfortable, as well as them making facial expressions of express and worry. And yet they are still giving 110% in this video. An earlier comment by Master Shadow explains this much better that me.
Maybe the point is not for it to fit because that’s probably how we all feel and she uses the visuals as barriers for the girls, but hey what do I know about making music vids?
I think the dancers make the song even more unusual and dynamic..

Cheeto Baggins03 I saw them once live and I can confirm they are amazing. Lizzy totally dominates the stage and has such a powerful voice and presence.
Master Shadow I only saw her live on tv. She was on America's got talent I believe(don't quote me lol) with Lindsey Stirling. I believe they performed shatter me. It was amazing, but I want to actually BE there lol.
I been lucky enough to see them live 3 times. Each time they were amazing. This last time they where with In This Moment, holy fuck what a show that was.

The message is basically how girls can be cruel to other girls they are symbolic like black vultures. They can like you and get along but then talk behind your back. I guess this can apply to boys too but not as often. Great song great message I was hoping for a different view of the video

protostars I heard that "Crazy in Love" was not written by Beyonce. It was written by one her writers who introduced a sample to her and Beyonce replied "It sounds great. Finish the song. I come back in two hours." I wonder how long it takes to write songs like "Single ladies" which is repeating only words. I enjoy some of her songs like "The Best Thing I Never Had" and "Broken-Hearted Girl" and the BC Jean cover "If I Were a Boy" which Beyonce tried to take as her own. She is an annoying diva who wants to give people a picture like she would be perfect. Even more annoying fan base who terrorize people who don't like her.
Rolling Stone magazine had TOP 100 Best songs of this century so far and Beyonce had three songs on it. Crazy in Love was #1 - I guess they are crazy in Rolling Stone magazine.
Halestorm had none songs on TOP 100. I would have taken at least "I Miss the Misery" and "Mayhem" to my own. Rolling Stone critics are about rap, pop and R & B and they didn't have hard rock or metal songs.

OK first off got to tell ya am 50 yrs old:) THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !!! I grew up with Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and a hundred other bands that made me happy to hear music :) The fact that you are a power cord band in this day and age makes me feel there is hope for Rock'n Roll for future generations :) I have heard every song you have on you tube and WOW am IMPRESSED!! :) I would absolutely Love to have a few beers with you and your band if you ever make your way up to Northern Ontario Canada (we are a rocking mining town). That and possibly some other things which are now legal in Can> :) P.S. I tend to tear up every time I watch " Dear Daughter" lol guess I'm getting old :) Sorry eh :) (Canadian stereotype reference) :)
