This is a great new song, but when I saw the title I was honestly expecting another kick ass Halestorm cover. And now that is the next cover I am requesting.
Loving the new album so far. And well deserved induction into the Hall of Metal. If you listen starting with their first album up to this one you can really hear how their music has progressed and evolved. While staying true to their Metal roots and not going straight for the commercial over produced stuff. They kept their sound and style without having any of their albums sound like the others. This is great work. If they keep putting out these awesome albums The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is definitely in their future as well.

It seems to me that the definition for "metal" vs "rock n roll" has shifted. If, in today's landscape, THIS is metal...then Elvis was metal. Rock n roll would be less harsh than this....which would make it country. And what would we call the much more aggressive stuff that I actually do consider metal? Love me some Halestorm, but I refuse to agree with them being classified as a metal band. They are very strait forward rock n roll.
