Can't get enough of this song! Was driving downtown today blasting this song with my windows down. The guy next to me rolls his windows down and starts jamming out- signals to turn it down and asks at a light who it was I said Halestorm. The guy was baffled! He LOVES Halestorm and completely spaced the new album was out! New Hampshire loves you, Halestorm!
I heard "Familiar Taste of Poison" blasting from a car just like a week ago in a Walmart parking lot. Hahaha it was great! Started singing/dancing for sure!
I am a huge fan and somehow this album released without my knowledge. It’s probably my overall favorite though I like individual songs from other albums better. This one is just start to finish awesome

Just woke up and noticed new album of Halestorm in TH-cam. It is great.
After reading Lzzy’s Official Tumblr diary about her journey to this incredible album, I’ve learned to love and appreciate every song on this album. And I haven’t even heard it all yet.
2 years later and this still has me rocking out. Teaching my one month old all about Halestorm and now we rock out together
Halestorm never fails to amaze me with every damn song.

I'm usually more into the heavier, louder songs, but DAMN, this song is good.
This is a hell of a song. Never payed much attention to Halestorm outside of the singles, I listened to some of their albums and only got into a few songs from each, but this one is awesome, they've come a long way.

I love how Lizzy is able to sing about sex without doing the "look how big my ass is" bullshit that a lot of modern music does. It really breaks the taboo about sex, as well as finally, having a band who have a woman singing about sex without making herself look like an object. The band is really sending out positive messages about sex.
Can we leave in 2020 the idea that women singing about sex means that they're objectifying themselves? It's so stupid.
So it seems the whole album is about sex -- really good melodic rock songs though!
