God speaks when we are still. The Bible says be still and know that i am God. I like to practice stillness a lot and i do hear God. Also a man of God Mike Murdock says keep a pen and paper near your bed at night because what you hear before you doze off you can write it down. If you think you will remember this in the morning without writing it down, you would have forgotten it
Thank you for your comment. God speaks more often than not, but we hear Him best when we are still. I agree, always have a pen and notebook by your bed in case God speaks in the middle of the night through a dream, if you don't capture it by writing it down you might not remember it in the morning. Also having that pen and paper ready is an act of faith and shows you are expecting God to speak.

We usually forget that even prayer is a two way conversation, we need to be quiet to hear God’s reply. ..
You're right Omolara, imagine saying something to your friend and then walking off without waiting for a response!
