    What about ect vs spinetek?

      @@teamcamaleon great question!
Weight wise Spinetek will be the lightest, ECT second lightest, PU with regular glassing will be heaviest.
Feel wise, the ECT is great and has the same feeling as a normal PU and is great for all conditions. The Spinetek will have a little more flex but also a little more buoyancy/ float. They sit on top of the water more.
Durability rating - Spinetek will be a little more durable than the others and being stringerless there is no risk of the stringer popping out. I would put the ECT durability on par or a little more durable than a normal PU. They absorb shock and hits to the rails better, but with the thinner overall deck glass, I had the stringer pop sooner in the back foot area.
