I always assumed the pulse rifle's operation was based on its hammer "tapping" the same energy cell 30 times in a row until it ran out of juice and had to be replaced by another cell stored in the magazine underneath, while the alt fire used up all the energy at once to fire stronger projectile.
I like that you kept the combine pulse rifle's sound close to it's original but I can tell you beefed it up! The damn gun is just one of the best designs.

who would dislike these anims? sorry but the fact that the og anims and sounds have aged very badly. for me a good gunplay with powerful sensations should be mandatory in every FPS games after the 1990s. that's why MMOD is the only good way to play HL2 now. the ones who defend the old anims and sounds should see mental help.

Yeah, the cells are the mags, the big box is a box of ammo, the ar2 is made to feed the mags straight from the box

Man this makes me want Brightside's project even more now. But that thing has been dormant for five years already.
One of the main reasons being that he is a pdfile. The gamebanana community and also moddb community banned him so it makes sense.

That pistol recoil is too much for a 9mm and from the 357 it looks like he was firing a 103mm canon xd at the rest the anims are actually really good!
USP Match is chambered in .45 ACP and that is a perfectly fine amount of recoil for a one-handed grip. Handguns have a LOT of recoil.

The Gluon Gun should of been a secondary feature of the Gravity Gun and in HL1 it's literally just a prototype gravity gun. Missed opportunity.
