I have a bike that I haven’t rode in a while. It’s been in the garage and I’ve noticed some rust developing on the rotors themselves. Is it something that can be removed? Or should I just replace my rotors?
+@AJXOXO-vz1pn some rubbing with fine steel wool can remove some surface rust. You can then clean up with some isopropyl alcohol. You may still get a little noise from them but should stop you. That’s all assuming the rotors are not worn out or heavily scored.
Thanks for the tips humans! Now I know!
And like GI Joe says-"knowing is half the battle"

+@AJXOXO-vz1pn depends on how much rust. A little surface rust can be removed with steel wool but if in doubt, you can’t go wrong with new!
