I am not a Trump supporter either, so its not that, I have just given up on Beltway politics and 24 hour cable news is probably the worst thing that has ever happened to our discourse - I gave up watching that 20 years ago when rival news stations wanted us to fight over Terry Schaivo, hey fighting is great for business!!
