Hi Grace! Regarding your idea to have Costco cake (which I love), a lot of brides actually do this. You get like a small tiered cake for you to cut, the pretty decorated one, and then you have the venue cut up the sheet cake in the back. I saved a lot by doing this!
For my wedding last July I had a two tier cute cake then did Costco lemon cheesecake, Costco fudge cake and Costco red velvet it went down a storm everyone had something they liked and it was so much cheaper
A Costco sheet cake as your wedding cake is a brilliant idea! People actually enjoy eating it and it won't go to waste unlike other wedding cakes that are generally dense, as they need to be stacked and covered in fondant icing which many people dislike
As a US viewer, I absolutely love watching Grace taste test American brands! Those Stacy’s pita chips are dangerous… I could finish the bag in one sitting
Grack, I’m not sure if you’ve done it before… but I’d love to see a noughties school dinner-type video! So what you’d have in school at breakfast clubs, school dinners with you making the OG school cake (white icing and sprinkles) & the type of thing you’d eat once home from school! That would be ICONIC!
This video was a delight to watch Grack. You had multi angle cameras, fun editing, the content was interesting, and entertaining family banter to boot~ You also have made me crave a costco cake, so thanks for that I suppose!
Grace, thank you for your videos. They provide me some peace and positivity. I greatly appreciate all the good energy you put out into the world. That is something im trying to channel more
DO COSTO CAKE!! I bought a small, fancy traditional wedding cake from a local baker for us to cut and get pictures with. Then we bought a bunch of Costco cakes to serve the guests 😂😂😂 Saved so much money
They were not Welches but Kelloggs! We used to get a box that was 3 flavor packs from Costco every time. The flavors were All strawberry, a mixed berry and all Cherry. The were called FruitySnacks by Kelloggs! They've since updated the packaging and I believe the snacks dont taste the same either
Last month i went to Canada for holiday and i went to costco for the first time. We got kirkland dark chocolate covered mangoes and it was literally the best thing ever. I had to go back to buy like 5 packs to take home with me
I actually had Costco sheet cake at my wedding! We had a smaller, fancier cake that my husband and I cut for the cake cutting and then we just fed everyone the Costco cake sliced. Super delicious and very cost effective which was great because we were on a budget.
I giggled so much at your reaction to the Parmesan and blueberry combo. You could use the Parmesan in a garlic, olive oil and Parmesan pasta dish. There are tons of good recipes out there.
@@breakfastattiffanys741 I freeze mine in smaller pieces. The texture is slightly damaged, so I wouldn't recommend it if you were going to eat it in chunks. But it's fine if you're grating it, because the taste is the same
I think it would be interesting to do a price comparison between Costco and other supermarkets, I’d be curious to see which would work out cheaper. I really love watching your videos!
Hi Grace, you're history videos are really cool and what brought me here.. love all your content and have been following for years now. What about popular wedding reception food through different decades? Another interesting one would be wedding food from around the world 🌎 Thanks for continuing to make joyful and wholesome content which I hope ground's others in the way it does me 😀
It blows my mind that all the costcos are lay out in the same manner, either identical or perfectly reversed depending on the entrance lay out. It literally looks like you're in my local Costco and i know im on the other side of the country 😂
grace!! please look up 'floridas natural fruit nuggets' and tell me if those are the fruit snacks you had as a child?? if they are i need to try those welch's ones!!
Loved this 🤍💗💗 ps. also would love to see a vegan version!! my family make fun of me for loving the shops but your vids remind me I’m not the only one lol xx
Chicken pot is different than chicken pot pie. I haven’t seen the former in the US, but the chicken pot pie is so massive that the baby carrots in it are just left intact.
You should totally get a costco cake for the wedding!! We did a regular cake from a bakery for the brides cake and did a chocolate costco cake for the grooms cake and it was delicious!!
I always love your videos! I have been catching up on my favorite TH-camrs videos and I have been clicking on yours the most. This one popped up and as I clicked on it I said Grackle You got me again! And your opening line fit my comment so perfectly 😂
I worked in the bakery of a US grocery chain called HEB (IYKYK) and got requests for ALL KINDS of things to be written on a cake. There weren't any limits really unless you didn't feel comfortable doing it and profanity was frowned upon but not technically "illegal". This was in 1999 so I imagine that now there are actually guidelines or rules at most companies because you can quickly tag them via social media. And we all know how that goes.
I love Costco!!! I worked for Costco travel at the HQ in Issaquah, Washington. The best company I ever worked for. The "Kirkland" brand name comes from the city just down the freeway from where I live. So many good things. Half my wardrobe is from Costco!! LOL!!! And $1.50 for a hot dog and a soda?? Yes, please!!! And we love the wide parking spaces, too - when we can find a spot! 😆 I love that samples are slowly making their way back, too. 👍
I used to live in South Korea and go to Costco all the time and I'd always get those chocolate almonds and oh my gosh now I'm back in the UK you've just gifted me with the knowledge I can buy them again thank you!!!
I can't believe that UK Costco still has the lentil chips!! I'm in the US and my Costcos never carry them anymore. That's the kicker about Costco though. You may fall in love with an item they carry once or a few times and then it never comes around again! I think the lentil chips were around for almost a year at my Costcos and then they disappeared for good.
Loved this! Would really enjoy a vegan Costco episode, or a video where you go work at a fromagerie for a day (given you said you don’t know cheese super well!)😊
My dad and stepmum no joke had costco sheet cakes at their wedding! Instead of spending loads on cake they got a personalised topper made (with a nod to their pets) that they keep in their house :)
As a former cake decorator I can attest people get pretty normal things written on cakes, it’s all the weird name spellings that throw you off. I specifically recall one time writing Happy Birthday Sinamin.
You can order your Costco cake by what type of cake, pick your fillings, icing type and decoration. So no need for a chocolate cake with jam unless you want it! Off the shelf is more "take a chance".
Ok, I know this is not food related but I really want you to attempt an ice bath. You can get those inflatable plunge barrels off Amazon. I only thought of this because I want to get one and then I thought, ‘hey, that’d be a great challenge for Grace!’ 😂😂
You should try a pantry challenge, close your eyes and grab 6-8 random items out of pantry (or have your family choose) and turn it into a three course meal....
Du unusual food combinations that you wouldn't expect to work but do. For example Lemonade with balsamic vinegar Cheddar drizzled with honey Peanut butter and cucumber Chicken salad with strawberries and mango
i don't know when exactly this video was filmed and if you still have the cheese, but it seems like you need to make "how i cooked (with) 1 pound of parmesan cheese" in the style of andrew from about to eat asap, i would watch that 🤣
I want to work in the Costco bakery so bad too! Also you need to try there blueberry muffins, if they have them in England, because they are absolutely divine!

Explain how does that work? Please any ways I am so happy for her getting Married. But I would love to see some marriage vlog of some sort please.
@@SALAH_LFC_11 think we will be waiting a while.. heck grace hasn't been engaged long!!

I think a lot of people are moving away from the classic fondant icing cakes, so costco cake would be fab!
Would love to see you trying wedding food from a different time period like the victorians
Great idea!
What a good idea, I would love to see this too. As well as wedding fashion from period times too please.
As a US viewer, I absolutely love watching Grace taste test American brands! Those Stacy’s pita chips are dangerous… I could finish the bag in one sitting
Yes to vegan Costco recommendations! You Costco queen you 😏

The welches gummies frozen are soooo good. Love the tropical ones.

Dairy free gal here!! So would also appreciate a vegan Costco version

As a non-vegan I say id also enjoy that as well.
No. Why should we suffee from your stupid life choices
I giggled so much at your reaction to the Parmesan and blueberry combo.

What kind of person would need to buy that massive chunk of parmesan? It's such a strong cheese, you don't use much in one sitting.
