Curiosity Cafe - I just stream & have the 2nd Gen FireTV. Thinking ah ha; I’m fortunate to have the SD Card Slot now that you guys have setup your APK’s into Shopping Stores w/PIN info. I can add storage! BUT I don’t get a option when it downloads where the download will go. It auto goes to my FireTV even though I transferred the App to the SD, my memory of the card shows them there but hasn’t even taken any space on my card the largest FireTV allows MOST IMPORTANTLY IS MY FireTV memory is still FULL???? What am I doing wrong? Hate buying new tech if I can’t figure out how to work what I have. Please I spent 2 years researching!

I just got this box, it is fine but it doesn't have a navigation bar on it. I have tried the ones on play store but the recent apps button will not work on it. I have one of those keyboard controller but using the cursor on the touch pad is way too sensitive and when you take off your two fingers when paging down it goes back up, which is very frustrating so I found if I hold the mouse button down and then scroll with other finger it's easier. But the normal two finger scroll is pretty much useless.
Just bought this box after my Nvidea Shield died after 18 months of use. This box is just as fast, Kodi works great but I’m not a gamer. Loads quickly and very easy to use. Bought from Amazon UK with a keypad for less than £45.

I just received one yesterday and I love it. I connected a wireless keyboard to it and it works. My IPTV plays better on this android box than my fire cube 3rd generation. I'm guessing this is because of the memory is 4gb instead of 2 and a better processor.

Depends on which model you have of the T95. The newest 2022 model has a great launcher already. Not sure if you have this old one (that you are commenting on). Then you might need an upgrade.

Could you do a video on the best affordable Android boxes for playing UHD HDR video files from portable or flash drives? I currently don’t have a home internet, but have quite a bit of 4K content in MP4 and MKV file formats. I also reformat all of my drives to NTFS from FAT and I have a 4K FireTv that won’t read drives formatted in NTFS. And as you know pretty much all 4K movies are larger than 4.3 GB in size so won’t even copy to a FAT formatted drive. So, being able to play through an Android box such as this is the endgame. Much cheaper than investing in an NUC type machine, when I only really need it for entertainment purposes and have other computers and laptops to do computer things with. Thank you in advance.

It's a box that replaces traditional cable tv. It eliminates that bill as you are now getting the TV via the internet and this box. It turns your regular TV into a smart tv.

@@DJMafiaTony these boxes can be unlocked to get premium free channels as well as PPV. Smart TVs can’t. So it’s much more than just a way to bring the internet to your tv. It’s a full solution. Your next step would be to watch our android beginners video

I've just bought one of these and so far I am really happy with it. Takes a bit of learning but I have so much to watch now and it has breathed new life into my old 1080p TV. It is a bit of a struggle to find information, and I am wondering how I would know if it needs a firmware update (would it tell me automatically?) as it looks like the last security build was 2019? And should I use any additional security measures? I have already installed the stuff I usually use for my phone, eg VPN and anti-virus. Thanks for the video!

It displays what I choose in a reduced panel and has four other panels displaying videos or other information. The remote that comes in the box has an "air mouse" button (to the bottom-left of the blue navigation arrow circle buttons), but aside from showing a notification pop-up on the screen when clicked, the air mouse function does not seem to work at all. I would prefer to use this remote and not need to substitute it with another remote option, if possible. any help is appreciated.
The air mouse will bring up an arrow that you can point and click on the screen. Some apps don't utilize it. The remote is very basic as is this box. Very cheap. There are way better boxes, but this is for the budget minded. You kinda get what you get. I used it back in 2019 and early 2020 for a bit myself, but ofcourse got a gyropad remote for it and mainly used it for retro gaming.

Yes it's faster. I run both in different rooms and this one tends to process faster. MX is still a good box though. We use it to DVR stuff to watch later with all the extra storage

The remote has to face the box. This is one of the reasons I always recommend upgrading the a new remote. We use the Z10 and have a video on it. I can’t stand having to point at the box every time

Depends on the box and included remote. Most people have a full keyboard gyropad upgrade. All my boxes I've purchased one. If you need an on screen keyboard otherwise you have to click on the box that requires it and it will pop up. Then click each key on screen. Consider the upgrade

Very small difference, I like the layout of the Android 10 (T95). But I like the available ports of the MX10. Not sure when I will use more than 2 ports at once, but I like the option

We do... we actually did an AppleTV video on our other channel. Less hacks with it, but still can put a lot of IPTV services on it and get rid of any silly cable bill. No one has cable anymore

i had the same issue, also with an old apk that supports only SD quality. I've solved all my problems with Netlix using the github netflix addon for kodi. It's working great on my T95 :-)

No, there is no built in IPTV. You have to add a 3rd party one. Fully loaded boxes are around $250-$300

Did you double click on the playable part? That makes it full screen on all devices

Yes, all the ports work. Not sure which android box you used. Haven't found one that didn't work with external drives. Just have to format properly.

Yes it should. On the main screen and some apps. Now that remote is a "point at the box" kind of remote (not bluetooth) keep that in mind

I use both. T95 is faster, MX10 is easier to use and more apps are made for 9.0. I believe MX10 is backordered.

We do... we actually did an AppleTV video on our other channel. Less hacks with it, but still can put a lot of IPTV services on it and get rid of any silly cable bill. No one has cable anymore

I would ask the seller of the box, or the manufacturer. Wherever you bought it will have support. I haven't used this box in almost 2 years. So many newer options

You have to add an iptv to that one. Tang box is $249, this one is $45. You could have an IPTV and plenty of money left

Great review. Got myself a gkg t95 box. Works great except for netflix. As soon as an episode starts playing my screen goes green with sound in the background. Do you have any advice how to fix this?
I’ve not experienced that. Are you using the standard Netflix app or the modded android version?
i had the same issue, also with an old apk that supports only SD quality. I've solved all my problems with Netlix using the github netflix addon for kodi. It's working great on my T95 :-)
