Just got one of these for my brother & converted it into an emulation box. Using the standalone Mupen64 Gles3 app, changing the settings to Display: original, 480p, & Glide for Low-End chipsets & it runs N64 full speed...even Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, & Killer Instinct Gold with only stutter for about 3 seconds when you launch the game then plays full speed no problem

I wonder if the 4gb ram version will work even better, I've been looking at all types of emulation boxes and this is up there especially for price and it seems very functional

My t95 box is not connecting with home theatre. I use aux cable. Some times sound come but most of the time sound doesn't come out

Have you tried running Emuelec on one of these? It’s cool but what a pain in the ass it is. I need to try and run it directly on the Android box like this with the Dig Front End.
I haven't tried yet but I'll be looking into, by having a android device is easy jsut to download the apps,

I've have tested the ps4 and ps3 8bit do reciver and the sega saturn 8bit do and they work great.

I have used retroarch on 4 different units and I always have trouble with Sega saturn or ps2 emulation
Ooh yeah those two console are more complex to emulate due to there chip set they have always been that way, but with better emulation programming they could run better on lower end machines
Well Sega Saturn alone is pretty new in terms of emulation as they just figured out the encryption a few years ago and most games don't run well anyway. PS2 Emu, you will need Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) with the latest DirectX
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2 GHz or better OR i3/i5/i7 @ 2,8 GHz or better OR AMD Phenom II @ 3,2 GHz or better
GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support)
RAM: 1GB on Linux/Windows XP, 2GB or more. Obviously you can get cores that don't need windows a la Retroarch but the hardware needed still stands. ANY MINI Classic consoles have nowhere near this type of power, and there aint a PI right now that can even run the emulator at all due to different the processor architecture being incompatible.
@@JaymeSplendid thats interesting as I have had 7 android boxes so far and my HK! android 7 box 2 gb ram, was able to emulate Saturn, but it dodnt work well with the conatrollers. my stronger boxes like this one ( which is now frozen on the start screen) could not it is running android 10. I am sure my home computer could run them all, but I ahve not tried that yet as I want to use 1 of my my android tv as a gamne specific box and another for other programs. I cant afford Ndiva shield which i know would run everything
My Samsung A20 plays everything so if I can mirror my screen can I just use the TV box as a sorta screen capture and streaming device?
Yes you can use it to cast yourscreen to the t95, I only tried steam link on there.

It does get a bit hot, but no problem with over heating in my exspriance. With many hours of game play and standby
Having a hard time, trying to do this on the t95 connected to my TV and when I go to the initial menu once I click the app it reads at the bottom: sunxi-ir-uinput and I can't move from the grey screen that appears load core.

I have a T95 Android Streaming TV box, 4GB RAM & 32GB ROM. I have installed the RetroArch, my intention was to load a PS2 game and run it on the Android box like your setup. I downloaded the Scarface ROM which was as a compressed file , extension .7z, I extracted the file so I now have the .ISO of the Scarface game, both files in a directory named Scarface and located in the Downloads directory. When I run scan directory it does not find anything so what am I doing wrong?
Maybe something with winhip would help its what I use for ps2 iso.s and opl it converts iso files for you and so on bin files converted to iso
I modified a Ps2 hdd games the lot. Thinking about opening it and installing the board off the android box to add retroarch on it aswell

Ive only owned two android boxes this one and the X88 pro , so it depends only these two models i can help you with, One thing ive been recently looking into is installing a custom android firmware on the devices where you may find better compatibility , or even trying different apk versions of the app you may have better luck with . that about all the help i can do atm . diolch ( gracias)

I buy a T95 andriod tv box. After setting it up. I noticed the resolution and picture quality is poor. How can i increase the resolution and picture quality.
You can go to the android settings under display settings and you have plenty of options to chose from

@@thedagenator2006 this one can only play just a very minor selection of n64 more power is needed 1.8 GHZ processor and 4 gb ram should do the job, or softmoding a wii u is good for 64 games

My friend, how is it? I have a GT king Belink device. When I play pubg mobil or free fere with me the emulator, panda or any emulator by hand, the controller throws problems. It starts. I have a stop in the emulator in the first place. The game starts to run. After time, the emulator stops. Do you have the solution, my friend?
Be link Is a good device, try a different emulator, I've aways stuck with retroarch and if any problems I try a different core or even try a different version of retro arc it self, you can always try a different controller aswell

It will do yes, for browsing the Internet on there and playing android based games it should have a slightly more smother os to it, but when it comes to emulation the jump to 4gb really won't have that much benefit
@@rightspritegaming I am going to disagree and say it depends on what console you wanna emulate I find ram is a big deal if you wanna play N64
@@HashknightGamingI have tried a 4gb ram model with a faster processor, the emulation benifits are only slightly better with but with settings adjust ments and app tweeking, you can get better results,
How do you connect the controller to box t95 a have that and won't connect the controller.
It has Bluetooth or USB connection
I use the Microsoft USB wireless reciver and connect a 360 pad or I use the retro bit Sega saturn
My t95 don't have Bluetooth

I'm looking at solution for everyone who already have the T95 Android TV Box (4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, Allwinner H616 Quad-core) and are dealing with malware infections. Is there someone who can create a solution to flash with either batocera or EmuELEC?

usb controllers not work with retroarch, it only work with bluetooth controllers.

Monitor that resolution sounds like the top resolution that monitor can handle, you can lower down what top resolution a tv or monitor can handle, you should try and adjust the video out put resolution settings on the t95 system settings 1to find out what works best for that monitor

@@rightspritegaming Tried a USB controller (via cable), a keyboard (USB wireless) and my switch joycons (BT) and nothing. The only thing connecting is the android box remote and that's kinda useless.
