I REALLY ENJOYED THE CAMP AND BOONDOCKING TO TEST BETSY OUT TO HER FULL EXPECTATIONS, AND IM SURE SHE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. WHAT A RIG, SO GLAD TO SEE YOU ARE ON THE QUEST, AND MAY THE LORD LEAD, GO SLOW TAKE YOUR TIME ,EASY ON PARTS THAT WAY. IF YOU EVER MAKE IT TO THE U.S. I HAVE A PARKING PLACE ON MY LAND, YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME STAY FOR FREE HERE IN SOUTHEAST IDAHO NEAR YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK. GOD BLESS AND PRAYERS!!🙏🙏🙏🤙🤙👍👍🏁🏁
Loving your responses and support on all of the videos and progress. Thank you for the good wishes. We enjoyed those test-trips too. Was an amazing feeling! We've definitely had guidance throughout the entire journey, and that has been pretty awesome. Met some great people out on the road! looking forward to sharing it with you. I won't forget the offer. I doubt we'll have the truck over on that side, but have visited the States before twice on medical symposiums re Fanconi Anemia. If we ever get the opportunity to go again and it ends up being close enough, we'll make a turn! Stay blessed and have an awesome day.
Looking great and those Racor diesel water filters are excellent, protects your diesel pump as well. If your spring suspension is still of concern you can retrofit an additional air bag to assist. Well done to you both!!!
@@malcolmgordge8550 at the moment, there's no issues with the suspension and Betsy's doing well, but maybe those air bags are in the cards one day. Have heard good things. Malcolm, thanks for taking the time and watching all the videos. It motivates us to keep them coming. We are fortunate to reach supportive individuals like yourself.
I take it you're from Canada Dave? Although we have some pretty amazing birds here, my wife loved the colour tones, I quite like it too. Also just read that the Bluejay symbolizes good luck, so that's a plus!
@NuminousExpeditions Yes , I am. Relocated to Malaysia in 2017. The taper at the rear of Betsy ,what degree? I start welding on my rig this summer, and I need to do the same thing.
Without a doubt the best TH-cam channel I have followed, I can't help shed a selfish tear that I won't have future episodes to look forward to! Seriously, Well done you Two, what an inspiration you are to us all. Jolandie, the bathroom wallpaper was a master finishing touch, my wife adores it! I can only wish you all the best for your travels, stay safe take care, particularly with the Sani (please post this!) and I look forward to meeting you guys in JBay and hopefully in other parts of our wonderful continent.
What a great comment Paul. Thank you for the continuous support. There will be plenty more video content - you stay tuned! Yes, Sani is getting closer :-) Looking forward to meeting you guys, enjoy the rest of your build and good luck with the box! Jolandie has an eye for those things - nailed it, I'll let her know.
Dude, I watch everything up until this episode. (Will do Swazi over the weekend) Absolutely amazing. Congratulations to you and Jolandie. May you also have many more birthdays, spent together, in wonderful places... I'll keep watching, and spreading the word... Be safe and enjoy... (Die Pennington ou😅)
Hi Riaan! Altyd lekker om van jou te hoor. Dankie vir jou fotos van jou lorrie, hoop julle kom goed aan die jaar. Laatweet as daar iets is wat ek meer kan help. Have a lekke one man!
Good morning Dave, Hope you, Tusky and Pryia are doing well. I assume that you're refering from the back-end slant? If so, I'll go and re-check the design, but I'm pretty sure it was a 45degree angle. I'll get back to you on this.
@@NuminousExpeditions Thanks. Tsuki is a pain, but this is why she is here. As an abused dog, she needs love, and time to understand that not everybody is out to hurt her. Damn smart dog. Regarding the departure angle please let me know as I have several ways to do this. Thank you. Safe trip.
Hey man, yes - she's a heavy girl but does well in all terrains. Low center of gravity with water, floor frame etc built down low. The truck has a GVM of 15 tons so she's still close to 4.5 tons under max. Did great on Sani pass and Baviaanskloof trail. Will soon enter our fourth country where we'll do a lot of sand driving. Hope you have a great one

Very cool. Is there a before and after of the inside? I love it.
You should be able to find some parts on the build of the interior on the "Building Betsy" playlist, but a full tour coming soon :-)
