When Eric did this he forgot to “review” that little locomotive that was sitting on the step. I think it was in a “fur grey” livery and was a 0-2-2-0 articulated tank with the twin yellow headlights and a chessie nameplate

Nothing short of probably being one of the finest modern O gauge/scale collections out there. Appreciate you sharing this amazing collection with all of us.
You do raise a good point with respect to Lionel re-introducing some previous renditions of Vision Line locomotives. In that vein, I wish they would re-introduce the all die-cast ES44s - those engines were fantastic - would love to see a re-introduction with updated legacy features as well as new roadnames et al.

I really love this model train collection! This is yet inspiring to me too and I love the F3 sets, the AC-9, the George Washington 4-6-2, the Dash 8s, the bi-polar, the 4-12-2, and other steamers. So many trains! I could just look at them a million times.

Nice collection of trains. Just a little extra info on the European Railion Traxx locomotive. I'm a locomotive engineer with DB Schenker, that is the current name of the former "Railion" company.
Your locomotive is a Bombardier Traxx F140 AC1, also known as a "Baureihe 185" in Germany. The difference between AC1 en AC2 on the Traxx F140 can be seen by the shape of the front of the engine. The engine number 185 084-1 also tells it is an AC1.

I really love the UP Challenger in the fantasy paint scheme as well! It seems like a 49er paint scheme.
My dad also got me a RailKing starter set when I was 4. I got the red New York Central locomotive, almost identical to the one you got for your son!

55:48 you really need to store this model, it is a piece of history, I own three from Lionel, two powered and one non powered, (I have had people ask me if I would sell one of my 4141’s and I always say no), and I always keep them in their boxes. I have two from MTH, one Premier and one Railking and recently have taken delivery of the G Scale model.

WOW - now I feel like a "Newbie" lol!! I have a measly 40 some odd Loco's in my lifetime collection. I have some I've never run but I do like to rotate them onto the layout when I get the urge.
Boy I certainly hope you never have any earthquake's in your area you're going to have a mess and I hope your collection is insured.
To each their own. Personally like collecting locos that are different instead of multiples of the same type.
I was eating a chicken salad sandwich and when you said that about the 4014 BIG BOY, I dropped the plate and the sandwich AND I took a Big Boy gulp and started to choke. I'm OK but I would have laughed right at the time if you would have said something like, "Originally, this was released this 4-8-8-4 in bright Kelly Green paint scheme.". Then, I would have known it was a joke.

SP GS-2 4415 Daylight was also in a Black WarBaby paint scheme and and Lark paint scheme which is light grey on both sides on top and underneath a dark grey section.
I love that southern train master also your up 1989 model and Niagara models are cool

I've been searching for one of those UP BSA 2010's for years as I earned Eagle Scout in 2016. The last time I saw one for sale, it sold for $1,200, but that'd be a price I'm willing to pay😂
