    I tried it and got the perfect wine I had in years. I used premier blanc yeast and one kg of sugar. Got around 12 % alcohol.

    I just want to take a moment to say that this wine is SPECTACULAR. I made it almost 6 months ago, and after letting the bottles age for about 3 months and it was wonderful. I'm sadly drinking my last bottle as I type this. Thank you again for the recipe.

      temperature under 20 degree centigrade is best for wine storage.

    Just tried this as my first wine waiting on the yeast starting on the primary fermenter , I have a high alcohol yeast so hoping for 15%-16%

      @@nelsonty6686 If u r talking about bread yeast, then i would say dont use it as bread yeast has low alcohol tolerance (about 4 percent)...more over the taste may be off as bread yeast tends to produce more phenols, which may give of a 'fart' like smell..

    I have a bottle of an one year old peach wine, but in the bottom I see some yeast, I would like yo know if I transfer to a new bottle to get rid of the yeast, and keep it for another year, do you think that this new process will affect the taste of the wine? Thanks for your concern!

      Be careful that if the wine get to much contact with air , can become vinegar

    Wow! Really spectacular, we're close to the New Year and that looked great spurting out of the bottle.
    I'll say it again; when we get back to Costa Rica I'll try this if I can locate the equipment needed. It will be pure summer when we arrive and pineapples will be abundant and inexpensive.🍍😅

    does the finished wine have a slight taste of tea? I understand the tea is added for tannins but do they serve a purpose in fermentation and change in flavour or does the final product end up having a slight tea taste?

      Yes, it can be normal.

      Wait for the yeast to settle down before bottling. It may take 3 months from starting fermentation. After 2nd raking, you can bottle, start using or store it for ageing process. Yeast will keep settling at the bottom untill the fermentation is 100% complete.

    After 4 days of fermentation the airlock was still bubbling? on 9:46 after one week in the second fermenter the airlock was not even. So no need to wait til airlock shows even? Because I was waiting and seems like my wine turned in to vinegar. What I made wrong?

    Thank you for sharing the simple way in making Pineapple wine. This is very useful here in my country, Taiwan , because now is the season for Pineapple and they are cheap and sweet.
    At the end of this video, I saw a very similar ceremony to our aboriginal peoples when opening the tasting bottle. Taiwanese spread a little bit of wine to the earth before drinking. This is showing respect and thanks for offering the fruits to us. And you spread a little too much, ha!

    Do you think it would be better to use the wine yeast rather than the beer one? I made strawberry wine with ale yeast, ant it tasted quite yeasty ane beery

    Hello i botteled my vine not fully fermented and added sugar for carbonation... After 3 weeks in bottles i tried open one bottle it popped all in to foames and i was not fast enough to taste it. Overgassed. Can i save remaining bottles ? Please help

      Yes 👍🏼 open the bottles but be careful, after that the gas go out you can close them again
