Have you ever tried to carry you kayak in the bed? I have a old town sportsman 120 old and bought my maverick because I was so sick of cartopping my kayak! How much is the kayak and trailer together? So many questions!
I have tried to put my kayak in the bed. It only wasn't ideal because I don't have a bed extender so the kayak wouldn't be properly supported and could damage the hull. With a bed extender, you can very easily transport a large kayak in the bed. My Predator is also the 13.2ft., so the 12ft would fit even better than mine would! My kayak and trailer combo was actually found by my wife who bought it for a total steal of $2,000! Guy was getting divorced and just unloading everything he had for cheap.
