The AWD was definitely critical for me. I do a lot of adventuring and plan to eventually move back north where theres snow. I did originally want the hybrid for its fuel economy though... the Ecoboost isnt bad, but the economy on that hybrid is crazy! Im glad to hear youre enjoying yours. Thats awesome!
@@maverickoverlandadventures Yeah, I got like $1000 of recovery gear, and had to go out with my son and his new 4x4 Tacoma. Just took a class with the friendly guys at Florida Trail Stompers. Although hear they have a group that travels the backroad and fire road and stops at old towns and food joints. I was hoping I could take the hybrid on some of those! Fingers crossed!
Excellent video! From Argentina I follow you. I bought a Maverick XLT this year. I hope I get it soon. I want to camp just like you. Do you have the 4x4 or XLT version? Here in Argentina the XLT is not 4x4. Only the Lariat version comes 4x4
Awesome! I hope you get your truck soon too. I have a XLT Ecoboost with the FX4 since it's available here in the United States. I didn't know only Lariat had it there.
Theyre stuck barely above the weather stripping, the ends that are past the weather strip are really what hold them on though i think. I havent noticed any damage at all, they have worked great and have never tried to come off either. i did however think it was a little odd how the instructions have them being installed essentially on the weather strip, but thats what this particular set shows and theyve worked fine so idk haha. im sure theyre on there right, so i guess thats just how they go. Ive seen other people install them higher on the door and they just look weird cause the lines dont match up with the mirror at the front.
@maverickoverlandadventures i got a big bend model. Not quite as offroad capable as a badlands but still been really impressed with it so far. Got a bucket list of upgrades im waiting to order lol
@siroliverdrab6067 Nice! Yeah.. I have a mile long list of things I plan to do to mine lol A lot of it I'm going to DIY but supplies still cost a bit. It's a slow process, but eventually our rigs will be complete...... one day 😅
@maverickoverlandadventures yeah i still got about 8k worth of stuff to get but hoping to have it all done by late fall so i can start doing the south carolina adventure route
@siroliverdrab6067 Heck yeah! I've only passed through SC but I drive to NC on the mountain side of the state a couple times a year. Lots of cool areas to explore out there
I absolutely LOVE my Maverick Lariat Hybrid and the 48mpg I get, but oh man would I do to also have 4WD!

Proud owner of a 2024 Maverick lariat with the Tremor package in shadow black!
@@Ghostofenzo That's awesome! I bet that's a fun truck to drive!
@@maverickoverlandadventures Yeah I’m having a great time with it so far! These are some tough little trucks and drive better then some cars lol
What’s your camping setup?

I want to ask about your wind deflectors for the doors. It seems like you stuck them to the weatherstriping. Have you notice any damage?

Wish i could meet up and compare a bit w3the brknco sport lol. Looks fun regardless
I really like the Bronco Sport. I would've gone with one but I wanted the bed that the Maverick has. What version of the Bronco Sport do you have?
