It appears that, in this recipe, you're trading the "messy slicing" (which is generally indicative of way too much sauce/too many ingredients) for "messy rolling" (I find it much harder to roll lasagna noodles with a filling than it is to just layer it)...just look at the mess after she'd rolled the one (and, to help prevent unrolling in the pan, one would likely have to use a toothpick/skewer to hold them closed as they were prepared...then would require removal before cooking). If you want a stuffed pasta, it'd be a lot easier to use the types made for that sort of purpose (large shells (or conchiglioni) or cannelloni)...you could even do a ravioli/tortellini twist on it (by filling the pasta with the chicken/mushroom mixture and then utilizing the alfredo).

You know what would make it even better is if you used manicotti instead of lasagna because the hardest part is wrapping /rolling it and the manicotti already comes in a circle and you stuff it with "stuffing" lol it would be a lot easier and be basically the same
Alfredo means parmigiano + butter. No chicken, no heavy cream, no garlic, no paprika, no chili flakes, no onion, no jalapeño. Instead of calling it Alfredo, it should be "The way USA makes a sauce that has 2 ingredients but uses none of them for it"

It’s usually just a little, and for one of two reasons. One reason they might use it is to thin out some sauce that has cooked down more than expected. The other reason is to use the starch in it to help thicken a sauce. The works mostly in cream sauces. They’re not supposed to to take so much that it becomes watery. Just a little for one of those reasons. If you noticed it-they did it wrong.

If you let the lasagna sit for 10-20 minutes you can get perfect slices. If they’re messy you cut it while it was too hot.
