Martin Marietta Titan. Two stage using hypergolic fuel, both toxic and if leaked and mixed together, fiery/explosive. One 9 megaton warhead, a real blockbuster. Phased out in 1986 die to obsolescence and lack of safety. Incident occurred in 1980 when airman doing maintenance dropped a tool in the silo, pierced first stage fuel tank causing a fuel leak leading to the missile exploding, ejecting the warhead off second stage, and landing near launch facility entry gate. Warhead high explosives did not detonate. Air force dodged a big bullet on that one. The book “Command and Control” covers that and other mishaps in some detail. Thanks Keith for another good video. I can neither confirm or deny the presence of nuclear weapons.
Another good video. Thanks.
Nice. Love the scale models!

Great rocket to have and to fly!! This series "Rocket of the Day" is great. We get to see your collection one day at a time!!
Very nice great detail as always
I like the space flight patina. I also love the fuel mixing high speed turbine noise a second before ignition.
I love the Estes Gemini had one in 1986 wish they would bring it back or i will make a BT 80 scratch build .
I had it too. Wish they were still available.
I actually still have the original titan 2engine cluster 😊
Nice I know about that one. That's a gem.
