The crab is INSIDE of the shell. How are you not tasting the crab? Are you eating the shell?? That’s the only way you’ll taste too much spices. I never said to wait an hour before opening… When you bake crab legs, you want them in longer so you can dry out the shell so they crack easily. You ever opened a crab leg and all the meat is stuck to the sides and you just picking at it? That’s what you don’t want. You want full pieces coming out of the shell. That’s why you bake them longer.
