Your description mentioned that the four minutes was for frozen or fresh legs so I assume thawing is recommended before steaming. Thanks again!

Steamed in a big pot !With lots of butter in garlic for sure ,don't usually use lemon but maybe next time! But I also make a pot of some kind of pasta to go with it usually with the red sauce.
I am making these crab legs tonight. I wish they were King crab but not at $65.00 a lb. These legs were $10.00 lb. So I place the 4 lbs frozen from the store in a large aluminum pan, 2 cups of water and tightly cover with foil, then onto the grill with the cover down at the lowest setting for about 25 mins. They steam up very evenly. In the meantime I make the garlic lemon butter dip and set aside. Oh heavenly. Happy Valentine's Day ! :)

Adding hot butter to unsolidified fryer grease makes for soggy mess. I recommend waiting the 5 min, and just like French fries, let the rings breath. Don't trap in all that steam, 'cause again with the sogginess. Good, now I know how to cook crab legs when I want it, and it couldn't be easier. Thanks. Now I need your recipe for Garlic and Cream Cheese deep fried Crab Wontons. Please tell me you have a recipe for those?...
