I completely agree. The Notebook just seemed over-the-top and fake. I thought I’ve read that Ryan Gosling and Rachel Adams didn’t like each other in real life, so that explains a lot. This story arc to me is believable and I related to it. You can see that their on-screen chemistry is natural.

So we had Before Sunrise (age 23), Before Sunset (age 32), Before Midnight (age 41). The next movie could take place at age 50 in New York City as Jesse's son graduates college (introducing his justifiably angry ex wife) and the twins are in high school and visiting with Jesse and Celine from Paris. At age 59, the plot could focus on Celine's career, an event or milestone of some sort. At Age 68, perhaps they could confront a disease and, of course, Before Brunch (age 77). They are not the kind of characters who will cease to be interesting as they get older. They will get more and more interesting as parenthood changes them, as aging changes them, etc. More please!

And obvious a BEAUTIFUL European city. I vote for 'SALZBURG' in Austria. As they were there for a literary event. Like a Fair and they start to strow through this amazing city.
The Trilogy was complete and perfect. There will be no 4th because it will just ruin the whole thing ❣️ After all, it was aa one hell of a ride. I'm glad that I was born in an era where I can finish these trilogy in 1 day and not to wait 9 years for each 🤍
