I was in Folsom in 1987, for 14 months until my points dropped to level 3. I went to Folsom from Tracy after getting a 115 for possession of a weapon witch added 6 points to my level points. I thought it was no big deal going to Folsom after doing 2 years in Tracy, but I was wrong. I was there in building 1 and didn't see the yard for 3 months after I got there. Didn't get a job until I was there for 8 months. So out of the 14 months I was there, I only spent like 3 months on the yard, the rest of the time we were slammed. Its a totally different world going from what was supposed to be a hardcore yard (Tracy in the early 80s) to Folsom, you get checked really quick in there. I can tell you about the first murder I had seen at Folsom, it changed my life forever.

There’s a few channels out there that you could tell your story on man especially the time you were there was when it was cracking I’m sure you could make some money off telling it.

How in America can we say a building cannot be over capacity but have conditions such as this even in 2021!!!!
There has to be a law to fight this! If you're going to own prisoners you should follow OSHA & all state/federal laws. It's a business so why are prison owners exempt?
Overcrowding is overcapacity! The fire marshal should shut these buildings down! And make them spend all that money they make fall under the law of owning a business!!!
