Pretty good video man! I would suggest some audio tweaks since I couldn’t hear you in some parts of the video such as the different gameplay and bosses sections
Back when I originally played this game on the gamecube, the second joystick was related to either the visor or the beams, you couldn't use free look with the arm cannon unless you were holding down one of the side bumpers to aim. It felt so incredible to be able to just look anywhere I wanted with the new stick layout. In my opinion the gaps in difficulty come from the translation of the control scheme between the remastered version and the original as not having the ability to look up and down without locking on or standing still and aiming at specific moving targets made the game a whole lot harder. On the topic of visuals, it is incredible to see the game look this good after so many years. my first fps was halo CE, this was my second and I could already tell how incredibly good it looked at the time for something that was on noticeably weaker hardware and to see it with a fresh slick new coat of paint was just phenomenal. Great video as well btw!
I think there are aspects of this game that are so, so good but the entire game is definitely not one of the greatest of all time. The way the detailed UI makes you feel like you're experiencing the game world is excellent, but this game focuses a lot more on combat so there's not enough time given to the player to take everything in. The sunken ship is the part of the game where I think everything mechanically and artistically works as one and it's definitely the best moment in the game to me.
Not really sure what the purpose of this video is... You instantly answer the question posed in the title, then proceed to give 10 minutes of very surface level commentary without providing any meaningful justification for your answer. "One of the best of all time" is pretty subjective. But if you go by one of the only objective measurements we have (review scores), Prime is absolutely one of the best games of all time.
I remember playing this at a con once. I remember that I really hated how it controlled. It gave me this stigma that all first person shooters for Nintendo Suck and play badly
I tried to play it. I hayte these enemy Information cards that Pop up every other step. I think I played 5 minutes, than put it away. And I want to see Samus, otherwise it's just another boring Egoshooter for not so smart people.
The First 10 Replies On This Comment Will be shouted out in the Next Video🥳
