I’m so jazzed to hear that! Today I have the house to myself and the day off since it’s the day after Thanksgiving, so I’m recording about 6 different tutorials today. Can’t wait for you to see them!
Ok; liked and commented at 10:58 Buhuhaha! You got me ... Until now; great session/tutorial, will replicate shortly; all very well explained, should be a piece of cake to do :) What i did not get in the last tutorial was the possibility to change the opacity of the background, but got it now :) Again; very well done; especially the explanation about creating and saving own Macros; Great! Thank you so much, loved it! Now let`s see the rest and than do it myself to teach the body/muscle memory :)
PS You even reduced the volume of the background music ... much better to follow through :) Another thing you could optimise: Use a magnifier, for example when pulling things from the fusion menu to the workspace; i have to look a couple of times or frame by frame to get what icon you pulled ... just my 5 cents :)
Yep! In the videos I record now and in the future I’m taking out background music completely. I got so many comments about it that it’s just not worth keeping it. Always trying to up my value! And yes, magnifiers are something I’m implementing as well!
1:24 When i put my text node Fusion already automatically put and connected a merge node in between the Background and the MediaOut ... so i cut the connection from text to Merge to follow through the next step (two outputs) ...2:46 I have 2 digital glitch nodes, the one you used and another one without input triangle ... 3:00 Thanks for the explanation of the colors of the triangles! I pulled the keyframing stuff but good info about the difference of merge and dissolve :) Thx ... On to the Macros :)
More of them please 😊
There’s already more scheduled to go live in the coming weeks!
Hope you consider subscribing!!
Ethan, I've struggled with saving a macro as a preset for a while, but your explanation was by far the best!

Really, really nice the whole session; learned a lot and made my first macros after only 48 hours on DaVinci :) Thank you!
It’s so neat seeing you learn this quickly! I’m so glad I was able to improve this for you!
That’s so cool honestly, it took me way longer than I’d like to admit to make my first working macros
@@EthanRobbins Well; you probably have not had tutorials like yours :)
Morning, you a clicking sound in the background -
