Thanks for sharing, great system! Just a note. There is no need to directly rig in Blender or use add-ons for that, it is enough to parent all the parts (wheels, calipers, etc.) to the body, each one with its own pivot point, then export and import into Unreal *forcing it to be imported as a skeletal mesh*. Unreal will do all the rigging for you and it is guaranteed to work each and every time. Keep up with the good work!

I've just completed a project for one of the biggest car brands using your helpful videos, although it would be great to see if you can also showcase some VFX effects when creating car animations in movie sequencer, say like tracks made by cars in mud/snow, additional particle effects when cars are driving through specific environments, etc. that would be amazing to see!

Hi in some levels when i place the rig the car is miles away from the ground why is that? and its upside down? the entire control rig is in the correct place but the big red box and the car itself are miles away and yeah, upside down ;( Edit: now i have deleted it and reimported the fbx now the socket for the vehicle is gone looool theres only one and its root: *something* Edit: no idea what has happened but I downloaded it again and even made a new project and my sockets are not the saem anymore i cant select the 5th socket anymroe. Edit: still works tho
Hmmmm try to switch from Lit mode to “visibility collision” or “player collision” you may see in that case what cases rig to crash on, and disable all collisions for these objects. Some of meshes may have improper collision bounds that may cause rig to trace on something invisible

If the vehicle is a little higher ( a van for example) - then the body controller disappears inside the mesh and the "move" gismo is gray which I can't select and adjust the hight of this controller. you can double click on vehicle module and in construction event graph find "body" controller. Here you will find "initial position" of controller. and you can adjust it. It's like I have explained it in this video at 32:42 : th-cam.com/video/8MDVjPw0axA/w-d-xo.html

I have updated the rig now and there is suspension stiffness and damping modifiers, you can play around with those values to disable body bounce for example or reduce how it reacts
Dude, I did everything you said, but in the last part, when I leave the vehicle control rig asset in unreal in the last part, the car shifts horizontally from its axis to the root connection, and in rig editing, I can only fix the shifts up and down and back and forth, so that horizontal distortion just stays. YT tutorial rig is using skeletal rig, doesn't have a lot of quality of life features, doesn't trace ground automatically, less procedural. Rig in masterclass doesn't require skeletal mesh, very very easy to use, all is procedural, has rigged suspension and a lot of features like drift, boy tilt, pitch, all controlled in sequencer and much much better works on uneven terrain and slopes
Everything worked fine but the only problem i am facing is when i export the file from blender as fbx and import it in UE, all the texture are getting messed up. I tried baking the texture also but it still didn't work. can you help?????

It’s city sample it has some wrong collision 😩 I already solved that and wrote about it on my discord server its HLODS So you need to go: Build -> HLODs -> Delete HLODs Smth like that…

you still can! it traces the ground in some particular range, when you lift it off it will detach from ground and using transform track in sequencer you can still flip it

You can do that actually just by dropping rig module in rig hierarchy windows below the rig modules and than assign it to root. UE 5.5 Ui is broken for some reason:((((

@@postprocessed The Problem is solved. Instead of duplicating the wheel bone, I duplicated the root bone, which created the multiple root bone error.

İ use UE 5.5.1 and i have one problem. When i use rig inside UE and drag into root vehicle dont moove. Moove whole body with vehicles. ( tomorrow i’ll try with 5.4 )

You can do that actually just by dropping rig module in rig hierarchy windows below the rig modules and than assign it to root. UE 5.5 Ui is broken for some reason:((((
