I apparently wrote myself a note after the first time I saw this video: "One day, write the most intense, rage filled song I can, and record the video for it in a McDonalds ball-pit with a man in a bear-suit." Not quite sure what I had in mind, but I like the sound of it!

Everyone can talk all the shit they want about bands and their music, but the bands are the ones touring the world and living the amazing life.
Arif is one of the best people to watch in concerts. He is playing all this complicated, divine stuff on that bass of his, but he does it like it's no big deal. He goofs around on stage and still plays perfectly. Seriously, this guy is an incredible musician. A true inspiration to any new bassists who want to make it big.

Greatest music video ever.
Even understanding the metaphors in this song almost right away it still took me like a week to realize what the line about "that frozen dripping holiday bird" meant. "Cold turkey"
Dave Benning what is the dog supposed to be about? After listening to it I assumed something about love and relationships but now after seeing the video, my guess is divorce and affairs, maybe being to quick to love right out of highschool and not actually finding the "one"? Idk

***** It is in fact true. I read an interview from Rody sometime when the album came out. Totally changes your view on the song, and makes it that much more interesting.
***** also the line "that sweet little redhead has her hooks in my back" is referring to tobacco leaves and their reddish color when broken down for cigs. also rody fucking loves cigarettes.
Drew Wallace I thought the redhead referred directly to the cigarettes themselves, you know.. when they're burning, they got the red tip, and the hook is the addiction grabbing him :l
he has a ton of fresh ink on his arm in this video. all that red-ish black and gray shading is fresh ink. looks sick.
