But Matt probably won't say much because people would do their research and might end up finding where they work. Dose anyone know if the other bases where also involved with science/lab stuff?

Hey Matt, as a kid who’s dad is an LAPD officer he knows what the case is for. He said that it is either a power case or a signal jammer within the case. The jammers can mess with radio and cell phone connections. And he said that you should just call the PD and request a bomb tech just to be safe because it might be a bomb. Just remove everything that’s valuable in the studio then have a bomb tech with case openers and just get away and have everyone work at home until the LAPD is done
When Matt lifted the case and I saw the cords connected to it, my heart literally skipped a beat. We all knew there was a wire, but the fact that it's all connected under the stairs makes it that much more real and creepy.
So it’s connected to the internet. Do you think the intruder could be deleting footage so that you don’t see other areas that he ventures into? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
It's not possible. The best you could get from those cameras is a live rtmp/rtsp/mjpg stream. And youd probably have a hard time getting that unless they are ONVIF. Even then you would need credentials to get any of those streams. The footage itself isn't stored locally. That's the issue with the current camera setup, because they don't have control over the footage, it's stored in a Google datacenter and horribly inconvenient and slow to access
I don't know what I'm talking about, but possibly there is a computer inside, and the wires are used to collect information through the wifi system. That's why he left it there.
i do think that makes sense. now with the camera they found. i saw another theory saying something about that and that’s why they are able to get in and fix the fob to get in and they have access to the security system
Matt. Arlo is a great security service and follows Motion when detected and can record the motion you can also set time periods for when it records please look at it💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
After some googling, the case appears to be a Pelican 1170 or something similar. It also says "This Peli case 1170 is unbreakable, watertight, crushproof, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof", I don't know if these claims are true but they are claims on sites about the case.
Theory’s: what if he connected a computer to the Ethernet ( that explains the power cable) and he is gonna hack into the cameras. Or he has a LAPD computer that he stole and he needs you to open it so he can steel it back
It is connected to power and some sort of ethernet port so he is most likely using it for something, probably surveillance of some sort. He could most likely open the case much easier than Hi5 can so he wouldn't need them to unlock if for him.
@@dannyruffolo1474 Since he was gone for 45 minutes I’m assuming that the power and ethernet cable he set up himself so he knows what’s inside of it he can do whatever is inside of it
So its like the scientis somehow catch a ghost then do some experiment on it but then something horrible happen (probally someone spill his drink on some stuff) then the ghost escape then just live there
He is connected to YOUR internet...explains how he keeps being able to use the fobs!!! You need to check out who all is on it and change all passwords daily if need be
The case has nothing to do with the fobs he can’t change or add fob codes with out Kevin’s computer. Also if he is connected to the internet through Ethernet changing the password won’t do anything he is always wired in until they unplug the case.
My first thought. If this was legit there's no way matt would risk his staff and his family by tampering with police property.. especially if he thinks it's dangerous to begin with

This means he could see everything on your computers OR there is a device that needs internet to work.
That means he can access it from anywhere.

It's entirely possible that the cables are giving him data and info connected to the employees at hi5, also maybe giving him access to uncut video files, such as the vault code that may have had to been blurred or cut out of a video.
that could be how he got another key fob thingy too, like he can get other co-workers key fob codes from it to keep coming back in, or adding the one matt deleted back into the system
@@josephtanguay2509 yea but then it would say the workers name. he made a key fob fully on its own that wasnt linked to any of them. I think your on the right path but i feel like maybe thats just how he had made himself a key vault. especially if he has access to their network
@@xdluciifer yeah and that makes sense however he has so much information that I don't believe he could obtain hiding in a bush which is kinda where the cords kinda come in, because what are the odd. And if you haven't seen the next vid it's says there is a cam but I don't think that's all.
Theory: he is probably tapping into your systems with that.
I thought about that as well.
The shows fake
@@fishsockss proof???
It is though. Kinda. The thing redirects their call, maybe only when they call the police. If you have seen the new footage so you'll get it though.
I know this is a long shot, but maybe LAPD doesn’t stand for what u think. Maybe it stands for something else.
When I first saw the case the first thing I thought of was lab/the science place they said was original there.
That's idea is not as far fetched as you may think.i think they need to find out the name of the Lab/science thing that was in there before because the letters may correspond with the name of the people in there before
you mean like "Laboratory of Applied Photonics Devices"
Maybe, Matt hasn't said much about what they did before they got the units, he only said the were science labs and had science equipment when they came to look, if I'm not wrong I am think Matt said something about red base having the stuff. But Matt probably won't say much because people would do their research and might end up finding where they work. Dose anyone know if the other bases where also involved with science/lab stuff?
@@emmaw3509 Correct me if im wrong but I think there was some lab equipment in blue base? Again I could be wrong.

Lol, I remember that it said "PURGE" on the thumbnail before Matt changed it to "LAPD".
Remember the first time they found out that he tried to brake in, woods said he had lost his key fob. What if woods dropped it when the stalker was watch them and found it. And that’s why the fob didn’t work and we’re he got it
Actually and interesting theory it does make since Abi I can see how that might be possible stay safe and take care of yourself 👍
I’m pretty sure Kevin said that he deactivated Woods’ key fob that he lost. And Kevin would be able to see if that key fob had been scanned.

So freaky man, but a very real possibility. Remember that wall charger that was a camera.

@@ThatHuskyStorm oh alright thank you!
Maybe try cutting open the stairs to see what it is connected to.
Exactly. Matt said he's not cutting the wires but why not bust open the stairs (or the wall) and follow the wire instead.
Yes
Hey Matt, as a kid who’s dad is an LAPD officer he knows what the case is for. He said that it is either a power case or a signal jammer within the case. The jammers can mess with radio and cell phone connections. And he said that you should just call the PD and request a bomb tech just to be safe because it might be a bomb. Just remove everything that’s valuable in the studio then have a bomb tech with case openers and just get away and have everyone work at home until the LAPD is done

When i saw Jack Trudeau i was like Justin Trudeau?
or he connected to Dope or Nope yt channel to upload unpublished bits lol
When Matt lifted the case and I saw the cords connected to it, my heart literally skipped a beat. We all knew there was a wire, but the fact that it's all connected under the stairs makes it that much more real and creepy.
Now all I'm trying to do is trying to find out who is playing as the intruder
They ask me...
"Ace, why are you so invested in this?"
My answer...?
"Because..."
So it’s connected to the internet. Do you think the intruder could be deleting footage so that you don’t see other areas that he ventures into? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
So he was the reason that nest camera wasn't working before.
@@jeniffercarlson2399 possibly
It's not possible. The best you could get from those cameras is a live rtmp/rtsp/mjpg stream. And youd probably have a hard time getting that unless they are ONVIF.
Even then you would need credentials to get any of those streams. The footage itself isn't stored locally. That's the issue with the current camera setup, because they don't have control over the footage, it's stored in a Google datacenter and horribly inconvenient and slow to access
@@microsoldering1 dude could be a mastermind lol. But who knows 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ the series is intriguing.
that's a possibility
He should follow the cables to figure out what they are hooked up to, and then he could probably disconnect them more safely
This has escalated from random keys to the LAPD involved.

How would new cameras that Kevin was testing out, have footage from a month ago?
they had them installed but they did not want to make it public where they are at that time
After some googling, the case appears to be a Pelican 1170 or something similar. It also says "This Peli case 1170 is unbreakable, watertight, crushproof, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof", I don't know if these claims are true but they are claims on sites about the case.
Atleast this time it won’t melt a hole through the ceiling
Hopefully
It's got a hole in the bottom, it's not ubreakable
Pelican is a brand used by the military as well. They are very tough well made cases. Don’t forget the Naval sticker on the Mercury.
Get lockpicking lawer to open it
Maybe some of the numbers of Matt’s schedule, that they found in the person car could be the code.
Or maybe he works at LAPD.....

No one:
Matt: *laughing* help me

It could be that syphus guys are warning hi5 to scare them as to why police are not involved but actually there isn't any one cared to take on the case
