Hello! I am a locksmith, and you have everything you need to get in that safe!! The stamp on the cylinder (where you put the key in) is the blind code you give to a locksmith to cut you a new key. So if you call your local locksmith and ask if they can cut you a GC57 Tubular Key. I can say that I am 95% sure that they can get you what you need with just that.
Post this on his Reddit under eiter discovery or whatever seems best. This is something that might help them.

Hey Matthias, I had a thought that that safe is actually a pistol safe. If you look up gun safes you will find that there is a model that looks exactly like the one you found called the SentrySafe QAP1BE.

The whole car thing stared with a key in the ceiling of that base, how is it a stretch that a safe in the ceiling could be connected? Like how many previous businesses hid stuff in the ceiling?
A key in the ceiling with the code to a lockbox that's hidden in a wall found by following a QR code treasure map taped to the bottom of a locksmith kit which contains the key to an abandoned car. And a gun safe in the same ceiling. It's either a skit or evidence in a murder trial.

I've commonly known that sometimes the construction crew will leave a "time capsule" within the walls or ceilings for the next construction crew to find. sometimes it's just a picture of the crew or something goofy of the sorts, but at times it can be really important documents like blueprints of changes or previous versions of the establishment.
now I don't believe that's what this is because of the fingerprint scan and all the safeguards to prevent any random explorers to access the secrets held within, but it could be a cache of info that the landlord has on-site for emergency purposes. my family and I own a restaurant in the Houston Katy area of texas and we are in a little strip mall. our landlord has a safe within the ceiling of our place as a sort of safeguard if his home gets destroyed or wherever he keeps his files gets destroyed he always has a physical copy at all times.
there is also the possibility that there was something fishy going on with previous establishments in your buildings as a sort of front and this may be one of their cache that may have been left behind.
just some thoughts to throw out there.
I agree with this because when I had moved into a new house we were remodeling and we found something similar to in The ceiling and I guess it had a whole bunch of illegal documents and stuff in it... So if they use a saw or something to cut it open I think it's going to instantly ruin the insides

Unless there is a key in the key box like that you may have to cut through hinges on back. Another thinking is there looks like a sticker on back. Check if it has a make and model number you can look up and see if there is an override code (there usually is) . This is not something that will open with a screw driver and hammer.

So they found a safe in the ceiling, but they only got the black (new) ceiling tiles no less than 2 years ago. Meaning that it cant be from the previous tenants. So it has to be a previous employee or a current employee.

@Bianca Maldonado maybe not. The dirt and dust might have actually helped with that. I know there's a trick where you can put scotch tape down on something amd it basically can pick up an imprint. The first and stuff might have been able to make it more pronounced

1. Why would Kevin look at the nest cam notification in the middle of the night like he said he did when he knew they were going to be there making noise.
2. when tempered glass breaks from temperature changes, there is no "point of breakage" like you saw in the upper portion of the window, it just shatters uniformly meaning something had to hit it to break it
3. they easily could have doctored the nest cam footage by using a the footage from before it was broken, adding a sound, and then replacing the rest with footage from after it was broken.

Actually these buildings could have been cheap because of the situation surrounding them. Matt could have gotten a very good deal on them. I know I bought my two story house with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for 89,000 just because the bank owned it and wanted to get rid of it fast. The previous owner filed bankruptcy so that's why it was in the banks possession.

This isn't real for sure, way too coincidental, still entertaining. The setup leading to him finding the safe is just too absurd. Doesn't feel natural. Also, if anyone was hiding a safe in a ceiling, they'd have to be completely stupid to put it over an air vent and not a ceiling tile.

Guys, hear me out. Matt should have swiped the dust off wit a clean brus andd used like a porestrip or clear duct tape and flatteend it against the finger print scanner. it ten would have read it again, and if it did not need the combo and key as well, it would have opened. Also you could try to open te box with a crobar, you would be surprised how stuff sometimes wobt get damaged. Also, if there are any other rooms in blue base or any base for that matter that have any random weird problems ac related or not, I would investigate, also I know a lot is going on in the studio right now but maybe try the warehouse. A lot of weird things ave happened there and theres a lot of odds and ends that aren't tied to ech other. Best of luck.

so i just watched the video where you find the safe in the ceiling. Just to clarify the tubing usually put in ceilings in usually called flexible duct tubing. Also to point out as a few others have it is a sentry firearm safe with biometrics. the finger scanner is for quick access but can also be opened with a combo with he four buttons, the key is a master override. I feel you should go through all keys like you plan too and try and map them out but also keep an eye out for the safe key at the same time. This is just as idea. Also if there in any firearms in it i would not touch them and notify the authorities right away. Also the tempered glass that broke could have been caused by heat in the room and the side by the front door cooling off, It has happened at my work where the inside of the building was definitely cooler the outside and the window just shattered and i was the only person in the building and i was towards the back when I heard it. Onto the better part of this, I love watching these videos you make. 'it cant be that old' well technically anywhere from the 60's to 70's is when fingerprint scanners were first used commercially so 50-60 years but specifically That safe? Probably within the last decade for when it was made and even sooner for being placed up there.

When people are naturally curious, they tend to want to find ways to fulfill that curiosity, no matter what. Because he is a TH-camr, his curiosity is solely based on his comment section and his subreddit, he didn't actually look up how to fulfill that curiosity that he had. I and many other people in my life (who claim to also be more curious than fearful) try their best to find out different and effective ways to fulfill their curiosity, this is because they are not afraid. So, the main joke here is that he, instead of looking up on his own, he creates suspension, which blocked his statement of wanting to fulfill his curiosity.

i feel like the safe and the car DOES, IN FACT, align together if the red mountaineer was so slow near the bases maybe they spotting out the area, if the safe has been found yet or if there is anyone in the building so that they could break-in and take the safe, but now that the safe has been compromised they might have to brute force it.
It could be that the navy is spying this compound and drives around there to find the perfect moment when no one is in the, then they probably went in and put it there.
Imagine if Izzy was the one behind all this XD He's their handyman so he has access to tons of places in the base(s), he has the knowledge get into the walls/ceilings (as he mentioned in the Neon fire video that he did start putting the neon cable box in the wall) and since Matt has trusted him with the Megadesk room, painting, setting up, it would be easy for him to pop a lockbox up there.
