Theory: As soon as he move the couch, he found the safe. He opened the safe, but wasn’t able to pick the item inside because some of the toxic liquid went on his hand. Causing him to yell as he suffer. And you guys should probably add a camera in sams office.

he is heavy breathing because when he shoulders the door open, i believe he pops his shoulder out or something, probably why he couldn't move the couch

I had that thought and a lot of information seems to point to it. Only thing that concerns me is if he was trying to move the couch with a dislocated shoulder how did he still get to the safe to open it. Seems like maybe this was a side effect of shouldering the door open but i don’t know if he was ever trying to move the couch.
You also notice that when the got to the safe, it was unlocked so that guy is tied to everything

The guy who broke in was grunting in Sam’s office. It sounded like he was in pain. I think that he is on some sort of drug that makes him get mad easily or be in pain. When he tried to break in the first time, he yelled when he couldn’t get in. Maybe the “gun” in the safe is some sort of item used to inject that drug into him. That could have been the chemical that was leaking. I know the chemical is very dangerous, since it went through the floor, but we don’t exactly know what it does to humans. Matt has said before that there used to be a lab there before they moved in. Maybe that lab did tests on people and he was one of their subjects. The chemical that was dripping out of the case may be some sort of cure or maybe it was what they used on him and now he is addicted. Or maybe when he grunted in pain that was possibly because he touched the chemical and it hurt him. Since we weren’t able to see what was in the case, maybe it is just a weapon. But since Matt said it wasn’t like anything he had seen before, it may be for injecting a chemical into him.
I don't think the chemical is a cure because before the break-in he looked like he had energy, but I think we can assume it was after he opened the safe he started screaming and injured himself from the chemical in the safe. But I'm also curious if the chemical dried up or if it still wet in the safe. Another thing we can assume is the man is very stressed about the situation. Like how you pointed out he yelled when he couldn't get in and he yells again after he is in. He must really be hiding something big if he is willing to go through all this trouble and to be able to keep up with the videos.

I’m speechless. They need someone from security or someone stay at night for a couple weeks with a taser, firearm or anything that can stop the stalker from getting away (Matt! If you see this comment, don’t show this on your vids!). He is watching your videos no doubt. If you do, he will know someone is there and might bring something that might hurt your employees. Be very careful. Put some hidden cameras around the office (DO IT OFF CAMERA!!!) that better quality than the nest cams. Syphis could be a cult that you need to be worried about and the numbers 590 could be the amount of members that they had at the time, by now I bet there will be twice that amount. Matt and ONLY Matt needs to read this, and I know that it’s against the rules to ask for likes but Matt really needs to see this. Please like this comment so that Matt can see it!

Well it WAS just 1 safe, I'm actually impressed Matt was worried ahitu the keys, which(if this goes even deeper) would've been worse cuz the guy could have access to a ton of random stuff
My only thought is that it is some sort of injection that he made, he most definitely was screaming in pain, and seeing what the chemical did to the floor, I can only imagine what it did to him. He took off his jacket to inject himself with the liquid. I will edit this if I make further discoveries/theories.
This is just grabbing in the dark, but he must have known where everything he wanted was, he needed to get into Sam’s office, but him rummaging through the office could mean that he wanted something else, meaning he KNOWS that there is something else important in the office that he wants.

I'm so freakin scared right now, if they are trying to pull a prank then I'm not laughing, I hope that who ever did this gets caught. And the fact that the safe is opened, do you think that guy planted that gun in the safe, or was he trying to get the gun but the liquid burned him.
I don't think that Hi5 Studios has such a good actor to fake such a scream. It's definitely geniuine.
@@starlight846 Personally, I think the liquid burned him and after he stopped screaming, he noticed that people might hear him and call the cops so he just bolted. At least that’s my opinion...
My theory after reading a lot of the comments: “syphus” got word about these videos and it showed the safe and he forgot to get rid of that one when he left those years back when it was a lab (wouldn’t be hard to forget about the safe in the AC vent). I think I agree it’s a gun/IV injection gun with chemical type of bullets/vials. The chemical was way more important than the device in the safe. I don’t believe the chemical burned syphus (why it hasn’t burned any of the hi5 staff yet, though over time obviously it has the potential to do major damage to the floor n such) I believe syphus dislocated his shoulder breaking into Sam’s office, so the screams started when he had to use his shoulder to lift the coach to get to the safe. He continued to yell and then say “dammit” when he opened the safe and noticed the vials/bullets were broken so useless. There was no use for the injection gun so he just ran out with nothing cuz the chemical vials were what he wanted. He was so out of breath and hunched over leaving cuz of the dislocated shoulder and moving the couch and maaaaybe needing a crowbar or something to open the safe with a bad shoulder.
P.S. definitely not skinny or tall enough for it to be tanner 😅

I think there was still some of the spilt acid in the safe and he burned himself pretty good which is why he screamed and bolted.

Didn’t he say they inherited the security? Perhaps they were in place when the previous tenants were there and the intruder was a former their employee not Hi5’s.

As Matt and kevin said, they inherited the system, so as cameras, that could be taken out only when they made reinovations in Blue Base after it's purchase. And only cameras that they did remoe, is from people's offices.

Theory: So clearly this guy who calls himself Syphus is furious over the fact that you guys have found the safe and broke whatever was inside of it. Of course, you already know what is inside the safe now because Syphus just opened it. A lot of people here are saying it is probably a syringe gun that’s inside the safe, perhaps with some of the files holding that dangerous chemical. Most likely one of the bikes was already attached to the syringe so he took the opportunity to inject himself with it. I did some research online and found how if something is injected in such high quantities it can cause a burning sensation, hence the pain Syphus felt. It looked like he was mentally preparing himself before injecting it because he was breathing quite heavy knowing it would hurt like heck. Whatever “chemical” it is, it completely ruined him because of the way he slumped over while going down the stairs and not being able to put on his jacket seeing how his arm was in excruciating pain. My question is: If he was so intent on finding the safe the first time, why wouldn’t he just have taken it the second time around? Instead he opened it, injected himself and put it right back. Why? If it was something he desperately wanted he could have just taken it and left. Instead he purposely did what he did full view of the camera and left it. Plus, why wouldn’t Matt and the others think of the safe right off the bat as soon as Matt saw the guy in the nest footage. I have a feeling he will make another appearance much sooner than later. Also, the next video you will upload, Matt, you already know more of the pieces to this mystery. Honestly, if this is all fake, which I find it kind of hard to believe, then bravo Matt, bravo. 😊👏🏼 But really though, please be careful.....One thing I will ask is what if you guys did an overnight stay again? Just prepare yourself just in case and see if he shows up, but pretend you guys aren’t there? Hmmm, why didn’t the police show up when Matt said to call them?

If you read from pages 9-10 you can see he was injecting three different substances into himself and his family: Alprazolam, Phentermine, and hydrocodone.

Man, your right. That might be why he screamed cause he got some of the chemical on him. That safe needs to be finger printed to see if he left his skin or prints on the safe. Also don't touch, without gloves, what ever is in the safe and have it finger printed to find out who broke into your place.
Theory: the gun is a heart attack gun the government used to use it,it shoots out a toxin like chemical and it is illegal to have one because it can inflict horrible pain one worse then a real gun. It is called a heart attack gun because when the government killed someone with it they would say the person shot with the gun died do to an heart attack
They say the government stopped using it but the past hi5 studios residents were scientist which means they could have tried to make a replica of this "gun" but one with less toxins, matt said while watching the nest that it seemed like he was holding a gun which means he most likely shot himself with it explaining the scream obviously made from pain but seeing that he did not pass out or even die but instead still had enough energy to leave makes me believe that it is a less powerful heart attack gun.
Also matt said that it is a gun but one that he has never seen, the heart attack gun does not look like a traditional gun that everyone thinks of but it looks enough like a gun to pass as one.

Lunars Life , depends on where you live and their rules/laws on burglary.
With mine, if your burglarized they still send a cruiser to check on the tenants of the home. if there’s an open door on arrival, they call another cruiser to help investigate. If they get there to find an unconscious person who’s on the Floor, they get taken to hospital and an investigation takes place because it was turned into a robbery.
(Difference is said in the video. Burglary is when someone breaks in without hurting anyone. Robbery is when someone breaks in and someone gets hurt)
And yes police can actually catch the culprit through these methods
-checking all hospitals in the area for Someone who checked in for server chemical burn/s.
-they had a keycard to the building. So did the previous owners, so they can interrogate them and check their houses for the keycard.
(when they have a warrant to search their house, they have all right to tear it apart till they find what their looking for or they don’t find it)
-and the name carved into the box. That can be found on google which means it’s big. Find out who runs it (if it’s legal).
Theory: The first time the stalker tried to break into high five he scanned the data on the key fob security system then used the data to make a key fob that would let him in the studio.
Very true everyone like this comment so they can see it! RFID is one of the easiest to hack and manipulate now a days, you can watch the modern rogue and it shows u how easy it is to bypass the system
I have installed these systems and work in field. That's not how RFID works. YOu can scan someone elses tag and make a copy but going to the reader you would get no data from it. If it was cloned it would be an employee's RFID tag that was scanned. This one was an original.
That is a good theory, but Kevin’s system said that the key was created 4 years ago, so that theory doesn’t work unless Syphus had the ability to change the date for his key. But if he did have that power, he could have put the key’s account as anything, in which case it would have been dumb of him to label it Syphus, as that would draw suspicion. If he made his own key, it would be smarter to label it with the name of a Hi-5 studios member in order to keep Matt from being careful with the keys and safe.

THEORY: He was looking through the office to find something to open the safe. Once he found whatever he needed to open the safe he went up to Sams office for the second time. He touched the toxic liquid in the safe and it burned his skin. My big theory is that he wants revenge on someone(maybe a former employee of whoever owned the studio before you-like the boss). Matt and all the employees of HI5-plz be safe and careful.

He started huffing and puffing and then started screaming, it seems like whatever happened to him was intended. I think that whatever was in the safe, he used it to do something to himself. I think the scream is because whatever is in there broke and it was important to them. The huffing and puffing etc is just likely because they wete running around trying not to be caught, and due to the hot climate there they took their jacket off

My theories and questions:
- Why didn't he took the safe with him and just left it under the couch open?
-He sounds and looks so much in pain but he still manage to put the safe back in the couch or if he lifted the couch, he still managed to put it back?
-The unknown letters/characters in the paper that they found in the car along with the "Syphus590" may be the code in the key fob the man used. They should look at it with Kevin to see.
-If what's inside the safe is as important as it seems, the guy should've been more careful while looking around and finding it. Yeah, he wanted to be as fast as possible, but he should've been more careful. Like he didn't need to scatter the paper on the floor, he didn't need to scatter the things in the shelf/cabinet thing. He should've been more discreet.
-I think he doesn't watch the videos. He maybe a stalker who's watching them around their building all day. Because if he watches the video, why did he tried to look around before going to Sam's office first?
-Based on the other comments, he's screaming in pain because he's injecting something in his hands/arms by the gun that they found on the safe, other's were saying that he maybe touched the acid so it burned his skin. But the acid(not confirmed yet) came from the safe, so he's injecting acid (again not confirmed) in his body? What?
-He's maybe a test subject of a former science experiment. He needs to take his "medicine" in a certain time indicated by the "scientists". He has a lot of the "medicines" but different dossages that keeps increasing and increasing. But the problem is, he forgot one dosage in the building. He can't drink the other ones and skip a dosage.
He may have looked around before going back to Sam’s office because he was trying to find something to use to open the door before he had to do it himself. I don’t know where the tools are stored, if any are stored in the base themselves (which I’d presume they are?) but that could be wrong because Izzy (sorry if I butchered the spelling) usually comes with a tool bag

I can't even watch these videos joyfully at this point, I'm just super concerned for everyone in the office. That scream was actually kinda terrifying (as if this whole situation isn't). I'm of course gonna be watching every new video that comes out, but I will likely sit there with my jaw dropped the entire time. I keep telling myself that this all has to be some elaborate prank, but then I think to myself that there's no way anyone of them would've been okay with burning a hole through Sam's office floor to the armory. Sometimes adrenaline can cause you to overlook and not think about the obvious. They were also probably more concerned with all of the more expensive items than something that they probably didn’t know what do do with (the safe).

You said that the office buildings used to be laboratories, he could be an old employee of those labs. He would know that it was up there because he obviously watches the videos and he might know what the substance does to you. So he injects it into himself with a giant needle. No idea what it could do to you, but Sam has a point since there were multiple bottles of the substance, it could be a part A and part B sort of deal. And that is why he has a key fob...

Mathis I think you should get the Arlo security cameras. My parents have them and that are super clear. At night and during the the day. They launch with in 5 seconds on a phone. Hope this helps.

Theory: the man broke his shoulder when breaking into sams office. He couldn’t feel it though because he had not done any lifting or any movement of the shoulder. In one of the last episodes you said the safe was heavy, this would cause him to scream because of possibly a teared ligament when lifting the safe. He opened it before the pain fully set in causing the toxic chemicals to spill on his hand causing more pain. The extra pain would have caused him to notice the shoulder which would lead to him running and screaming.
P.S. the acid would not be a natural chemical and would be a compound, I know this because of the strength. This could be linked to red base with the science lab and testing. I hope I could help! Love from England!

Theory: thats he original owner of the mountaineer, keys and safes abd hes seen the videos, hes vome back for his stuff and hes going to do whatever he can to get it back, even breaking in for it.
He tries to break in once, key fob doesnt work, ok so it must be deactivated and gives up, then he comes back and he ether calls the company to make one that does work with some sort of higher tier thann executive and gets in the 2nd time and he starts lookig for the safe, he searches all the rooms for it, rummaging and making a mess, he ends up going back to sams office and breaks the door open, possible breaking a bone or dislocating something so he yells in pain, he moves the couch with whats left of his strength and sees the safe, he opens it which means DNA could be on it, he sees the gun but decides to leave it as he cant continue to carry anthng in his condition, he forgets to lock the safe and tuns put with a bag, potentially with another sort of weapon in there (maybe switched the weapons as a safety precaution) leaving the place in a mess, and on his escape he falls over into the opposite building, shattering the glass. He keeps going until hes far away. This person will be back and they will take the safe next time, yu will need to move the safe somewhere else and not show us in case the person sees the videos too, next time they will take what they can, they will look for the keys (also in sams) and they will also find the mountaineers key too, taking all possible evidence that they ever were there.

That is all good except for the fact that even if dna may have been left on that safe it is now not usable because Matt had touched the Safe after with his bare hands. But the rest is a really good theory
