Today I went with my mom to one of the biggest theme parks in Germany in Cologne Brühl german The last time I visit the park was 40 years ago I found some old pictures of me that I wanted to match up and I also printed out lots of Michael Jackson pictures when he was visiting Phantasia land Unfortunately not everything worked out the way I wanted it but I still had a great time - บันเทิง

Phantasialand is one of my favorite parks! I have been there many times. I Work on Ramstein and have lived here going on 6 years. Love It! ❤
My Grandma went to Las Vegas with my parents! She spent the whole time at a casino that had beautiful gardens with Orchids & alot of beautiful flowers! Talking with the Gardner's! I think it was the best time she had on vacation! She wasn't interested in the gambling nothing just the beautiful flowers! My Grandma had the most beautiful gardens! She truely loved flowers & she could grow anything! Your moma seems to enjoy them too! Love it! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Phantasialand is a beautiful park, love to visit that park and not that far from Belgium just 2-hour drive.... Would love to visit Europa Park in Germany! Love our German neighbors! Had a german vacation love at the sea when was young, a so lot of memories of her Christine! Also my German was so bad, I spoke more Flemish to her instead of Deutsch, but mostly we spoke English... Love your mom`s laugh, it so sweet and warm laugh she looks like the best mom you can have, Your lucky man with your mom! We all love our mom`s!

Let's be frank. Venice Beach is worse than the third world. In fact, it is an insult to countries in the third world trying to better themselves. The US is a country riven by division, with crime out of control, terrible infrastructure and people who (largely) know nothing of the rest of the world.
Mike would be crazy to return. Germany, which is the polar opposite in terms of life compared to the US, is civilised.

Horace I agree! The last 2 years have been rough here and the citizens of the US are worried. The left has made crime easier for the people who help there cause and alot that don't. Soon they Will take our guns and when they do ots over for us. We won't be able to defend ourselves and the US will become a 3rd world country. 100 million people are struggling to feed there families and doing without the essentials to buy gas for work and food for them and there families. The news doesnt cover it because then they would have to admit there was a problem. Out of sight out of mind. Anyway you called it. Venice Beach may not be as bad as you say but there are other left run states that are like 3rd world countries. Its bad and going to.get worse. I voted for Biden and I have to admit, I made a mistake. There are about 50 million people thinking the same thing.
California is a hot mess! I hope he stays in Germany!!! Besides, I’m tired of seeing homeless encampments in videos. If he stays in Germany he can take us on tours all over Europe. Visiting another country over there is like us just going to another state. He could have an amazing travel channel!

OMG! The old pictures of the Fantasialand bring back a lot of memories. I live about 20 Minutes from there and spend a lot of time there as a kid.

The amusement park looks like lots of fun and some cool rides. I could do the Roller Coaster but not that first ride. Has an almost Game of Thrones look to the place.
I love your mom, it’s great that you were able to stay! I was born in Koln and when you sang Hopa hopa reiter it made me think of my mom when she used to put me on her knee and bounced me up and down. Your show brings so many beautiful memories back to me. Dance schoen!

It's really not. US is different depending on region. This looks more like the Midwest in Indianapolis or Ohio .
But to say its similar to Texas, NY or California is not true at all.

And also Western or Coastal Oregon.
@@raymonddeflaviis2306 I think there was at one time but a lot of them left back to Europe (Italy, West Germany, Spain )in the 70s and 90s or mixed with Irish Americans.
California is heavily influenced by Spain (Santa Barbara) and Mexico (Los Angeles) and China(Bay Area) .
As for Oregon , yes. My Grandpa and Bill Gates come from the same family tree of Germans that came in the mid 1800s.
a lot of them are gone now too. My Grandpas old town is near abondend and fell to dispair. They moved to California in the 80 but then retired in Mexico in the 2000s.
So the influence is still sort of in Oregon but everything is being rebuilt new and lots of Chinese and Russian migrants that are bringing in more influence now.
I think Vancouver might have a higher German influence now. I remmeber meeting a lot of Germans and Italians in Vancouver, but in WA, OR, CA, TX they are all but gone.
40 million Americans have German roots. This has always been the largest immigrant group in the United States. Many don't even know that. If you consider that Germany currently has 83 million inhabitants, then half of them went to the USA over the centuries..
@@raymonddeflaviis2306 Anaheim was founded by germans. Germans also had a huge influence in Mexico which included California at the time. They brought over accordions which are present in Mexican ranchero music and they brought over a beer culture to mexico. Germans definitely had an influence on the American southwest.
That was the best theme park I've ever seen. Good work filming and no I couldn't ride that crazy roller coaster or the other ride. Yikes.

I used to visit this theme park often with my mother and aunt in the late 90's. We fled to Germany after spending 4 years in a war zone. Me comming there after watching people getting killed for so long was mind blowing. I will always cherish those memories.

I remember Phantasialand back in like '87. Was lots of fun. I lived in Frankfurt '84 to '88. Damn it has changed a lot.

Your Mom is world famous! Glad to see the fun. Looks like a fun park. I never seen a double decker carousel only in Germany wow! We used to have a small amusement park in our town in Kansas USA but it closed several years ago sadly. I guess the kids all play video games these days.

That place in Germany seems more welcoming. The people there don't seem to be as cranky as in Disney, the streets arent as congested, the prices are reasonable and the screams are far more intense for sure lol

Germany has always had wonderful carnival rides. Likewise the Swiss! Many of the rides we have in the US came from Germany!
I now miss them especially my Onkel and Paten. It was the same for my Oma 👵 but she past away a long time ago 1991.

I have watched all of your videos, first time to comment, but I just wanted to say how much I absolutely love the videos from Germany. I check daily to see if you have posted any new ones and my 55 year old self gets excited when I see you have posted a new one. My neighbor was in the military, stationed in Germany, married a woman from there (now divorced) and lived there for years. After watching the videos from your homeland, i asked him why in the world did he come back to the US, I told him I would have stayed there. It seems so much cleaner, much more safe, more affordable, more behaved , and so beautiful He said it is, and that's why he wanted to stay, but he wanted to be with his mother (82 years old), his extended family, his friends and just needed to come home because as he gets older, (he's 59) he needs the familiar and the constant that is home. (your friend's recent video in LA - something about your business while you are away, just came across my feed, and no disrepect, but I didn't finish watching it. I much preferred the fun, beauty, excitement, and chance to explore Germany through your video.) I"m happy that you decided to stay, you seem more relaxed, more at peace, happy. Your mom just beams, she's beautiful. Enjoy her, your friends and your home.

OMG!! I lived in Germany back in the early 90s as a kid due to my dad being stationed at the long closed Rhine Main Airbase. My elementary school class took two trips to Phantasialand and I remembered the areas in your photos because I have a few Polaroids like that. I remember the Cowboy area served these really good square pizza slices with a fizzy green drink. And in maybe a French area?, these super large cones full of ice cream. I miss those days.🥰
