    Becca I discovered your channel a few months ago and I am SO THANKFUL for you sharing all these meals you eat. I feel like I had absolutely no clue what an actual healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner looks like and this has helped me out TREMENDOUSLY.     I appreciate you making this vid while you were sick and not feeling well, how to be kind to your body and live a healthy lifestyle even when sick. This helps me because I have chronic illness and when I feel awful it’s so tempting to reach for crappy comfort food, I love that you eat food that’s comforting but also good for you.

    I love this style of What I Eat In A Day videos! It's nice to see how you actually eat when you're doing things during your typical day, instead of snapshots of food like some other youtubers do.
    You definitely made the right choice to do this full time. You are killing it girl! I definitely see all the effort you put in to your channel!

    Awesome video! I'm loving the vlog style. I love when you were chatting after dropping off your package, it came across to me how much you want people to win with their heath. You aren't promoting being thin or working out everyday, but overall good health. Keep up the great work!

    I loved this vlog style video especially around the 9:00 mark talking about you being intentional on listening to your body! I've always wanted to be better at being in tune with my body, but have recently realized it's constantly giving me cravings and things I need! Whether it's craving a green smoothie, peanut butter, hummus (all strong cravings I've had this week), I usually don't question it and just listen and nourish :)

    I've switched my diet over to focusing more on fats, proteins, and veggies as well and having carbs at night! So basically exactly what you said! I learned a lot of those principles from the Bulletproof Diet book. I used to be a HUGE oatmeal person too, but this has helped me so much. Loved the video!

      Omg no way!! So funny haha we're twins! There's definitely been a lot more research coming out lately on the benefits of a higher fat diet, very interesting stuff!     I’m a mom of 2 under 2 and gained too much weight during pregnancy with both kids. I HATE diets and counting calories so you’ve really inspired me to try intuitive eating! I’m on day 3 and loving eating healthier foods all around plus listening to my body and not just eating when it’s “time to eat”.

    I've always been on the thinner side but my eating habits aren't always the best. I eat healthy one week then like crap the whole next week but you've really helped me focus on balance and it's honestly helped me so much!!! I feel better energy wise and of course health wise so thank you!

    I hear everyone talking about how you should eat carbs earlier in the day so you can burn them off but when you explained why you wait till dinner to eat carbs makes so much sense. I know for me I don't feel the best after eating carbs but it does satisfy me so if I eat it during dinner I will go to bed satisfied and not wanting to eat right before I go to sleep.

      Yeah I feel like it's the total opposite for me! I have learned that I feel much better at night & when I wake up in the morning when I have carbs at night - everyone is different! :)

    I truly appreciate it you're advice. I I have been struggling with losing weight for the the longest so I want to take some of your suggestions about a whole food diet and cutting back on processed food and my health Journey. thank you so much for the advice.

    One of my new favorite breakfast/snacks is 1 serving organic plain greek yogurt with a tiny bit of nut butter mixed in ( I use raw almond) & topped with some fresh strawberries. Tastes like such a treat- I think you'd love it!

I don't do a whole lot of meal prep, however I know it's SO helpful to stay on track (especially for weeknight meals - they can be tough!) so I think a video on it could be fun!     I'm the exact same way when it comes to carbs! I do fine without them throughout the day, but I always crave them at night. That nut butter sounds amazing, I have to pick some up! Hope you're feeling better :)

    Love your videos❤️ Because of my auto immune diseases I am on a gluten free, no refined sugars, low sodium, low dairy, and low saturated fat because I don't eat red meat or any kind of pork. Any suggestions for me? Also can you talk about what we should eat organic vs conventional. Thanks so much!!

    Protein, fat and veggies = LIFE! I feel so much better focusing on that as well. I also eat carbs but natural carbs like fruits and starchy veggies. Thanks for saying you are making it a point to listen to YOUR body because I think so many of us think we have to do what everyone else is doing!! Love the video!

    I have found that some of our old ways of living actually hold true today. Starve a cold, feed a fever still works. I found that when I have a cold, if I do a little fasting I get over it a lot faster.

    Feeling sick is sometimes the side effects of dieting I been dieting and working out 2 months lost a lot but I often feel the need for 1 day a week eat whatever I want as long as I am doing it within an 8 hour time frame works for me along with the apple cider vinegar drink I make once in the morning and once before I go to bed

      Aww thank you so much! That means a lot! You could always try some yogurt with nuts/nut butter & fruit, or if you like cottage cheese you could try that too? You could always add some breakfast meats too, I would just watch the sodium content! Also you could always try a smoothie too with added protein (or yogurt) & you could add some chia seeds or coconut or nut butter to add some fat!

    Hi Becca, I have learned so much from your video! Recently I read an article that not enough carbs may stop your period which I had not had a regular one for almost 1.5 years. I used progesterone to force it to happen in certain length of time and I tried acupuncture in the summer. It worked for the following month but this is the third month and I still don't have it. have been cutting it down since last year and I thought that's when my period started to become extremely irregular. I craved for carbs sometimes but not very often. As a dietitian, should I add more carbs to my daily intake? And how much is the suggested amount? Thank you!😃

      Tina Zhao hey Tina! I saw your comment and just thought I would chime in. I am a dietitian as well. Carbs are super important for your health- things like fruits and starchy vegetables(aka potatoes)- our bodies need these foods not only for the carbs but for the vitamins and minerals in them. The amount of carbs your body requires really depends on your height, weight, activity level. In general you shouldn't be restricting them and should try to eat a Whole Foods diet including vegetables, fruits, nuts, high quality meat. I would recommend going to your doctor for your irregular periods because it could be something going on with your hormones. But I would recommend adding carbs back into your diet in the meantime.     btw, there is nothing like fresh ground pepper. If you're going to use grass fed butter and pasture raised eggs, you might as well buy a pepper mill and use tellicherry pepper.

    I liked the mixed nut butter too but I kinda felt like it mostly tasted like almond butter. which I guess makes sense since almond is the first ingredient. and do you like Dannon greek yogurt? only 7 sugar for the flavored ones :)

      Yeah it does taste similar to almond butter, I agree! I personally just love Siggis because I like the taste & ingredients the best, but my husband actually loves the Okios Zero yogurts haha I can't get him to switch. I don't love that they have artificial sweeteners (I did a whole video on them if you want to hear my thoughts) mainly because they make me crave more sweets/sweetness when I consume them regularly. Hope that makes sense!

    My body just repels fat. It just hates fat! Healthy and bad fats. I have to eat carbs or I will never feel full but as soon as I start eating fat sources...I bloat and put on weight! I still get a decent amount of omega fats from salmon but I've drastically cut down on nuts, avocado, seeds and hummus which is basically the opposite of any advice I've been given. I saw a holistic nutritionist and followed her diet and I actually put on weight when in fact I needed to loose it for various health and personal reasons! I've also tried Paleo, veganism and intuitive eating. The only diet that has worked for me is a low fat diet. I miss hummus, avocado and nuts but they just play havoc on my body.
    I totally agree with finding what works for your body! It can take a while to find what works but listen to it. Great message!

      Hi Bela! You could alway try snacking on some fruit, or dried fruit (just watch the portion size, dried fruit can add up really quickly!). It could also possibly be due to some unstable blood sugar levels, adding protein and/or fat each time you eat throughout the day may help with the afternoon craving!
