Brian, It is crazy to have read your writings for a lot of years and to finally hear you talk. You have to be a proud dad too. Great group of young men. Thanks for sharing.
Winchester 1895 is nice. My old leveraction elk rifle is a Winchester 71 348cal. Its really brushy like a jungle in this part of Idaho and the leveraction is useful.
Great video, I have to say I enjoyed all the guns presented. I will say I think the Ruger MK series reached their zenith in the MKII. The MKIII was always considered the "lawyers edition".
It's definitely hard. We all have jobs and work full time so trying to get tother can be difficult. Usually we film Sunday mornings and then have a lot of late nights editing throughout the week.
@ I am about the same age as Brian and have 4 kids myself. I can’t get any of them to help me with my TH-cam channel. Haha I have enjoyed the writings for many years. Are any of the Pearce boys going to SHOT show !?
I retired from the Army in 87, and the standard zero was at 25yds for M16a1/a2, with 20 inch barrel, The shorter barrel probably makes some difference in acccuracy, although optics probably help, but, alas, we had no optics on individual weapons back then. Love the 95 Winchester. Wish I hadn't sold mine, but still have my 99 Savage
Good video👍. I had a 1895 take down in 30/06. Another rifle I regret trading off. Always fun to hear everyones thoughts on various firearms you guy bring. Have a good day guys.🇺🇲🌲🔥🔪
I’d throw a Savage 99 into the mix My Savage 99 EG is a 1952 production Chambered in 300 savage Outfitted with a Lyman tang peep sight And my EG is slightly rare because it’s rotary magazine is color case harden which only appears in the 600,000 range
Great the whole bunch tries out stuff. Good to get different opinions. The 95 is awsome. Mines in .405. Wish it had been iin 30-3”40 or 06. But it still works just fine.
Good video. With the stock M16A1 and the M193 55 gr ammo, if you zero it one inch low at 25 meters it will be dead on at 250 meters. I dont know what it is for that carbine. I do know that the 1 in 7 twist is not too accurate with the 55 gr bullets. I bought a thousand rounds of 55 gr bullets and was not to happy with my 1 in 7 twist in a new rifle.
Those Ruger pistols are the easiest to hit with handgun I've ever shot. I got a Mark III back when they were fairly new - mine is the heavy barrel Target version. I'm not in the same league with you fellas with handguns but that gun makes me a lot better than anything I've yet to shoot.
Your content is pretty good, as is. That said, I think well zeroed rifles shot at small targets at 200+ would be cool. Think 2 liter bottles at random distance from 150-300, and show up with the rifle you know well... And always, more .22 handguns
Boy have we had a miled winter! I'm here in eastern Oregon, Malheur county. Hey are y'all still going to do the two guns for a Red Dawn situation video that I mentioned?

I would second that!
I appreciate that!
You guys are the best, just love your videos

Another great one! Reminds me of the late '60's when our family would get together and shoot each other's firearms.
Love what you are doing!!!
Big fan of the M71 .348, .405 M1895 and 1886 SRC .45-70.
Thanks for the video always interesting guns and fun shooting.
Joe looks like you need to go back through and make another sighting in video!! 😂lol
Haha that's right!

Thank you Brian, i am proud of your little boys, you raised them right. Now all you have to do is to teach them to shoot.😊
That's really funny.....they are keeping me young! Thank you!
Another great time guys! Hard to change to winter after the mild start.
You got that right!

The 1 in 7 is definitely designed for heavier bullets
The exception to Mosins being junk are the ones that were reworked by Finland w/ SAKO such as the M-39. Greetings from Cheyenne!

Maybe.....it's a good idea. We have talked about it. Give us time, as these videos take time to produce. We do appreciate you watching our channel.
